When they reach to Route 118, they sent out their water poke'mon. Ravio sends out a Lanturn while Link sends out a Clauncer and they use Surf to reach the main Route 118. After they reach the main Route 118, they use their poke'balls to return the poke'mon to their poke'balls. Then Ravio left and now Link is up to his own journey.
Link moves forward for his next gym badge and a trainer is singing somewhat rock voice in front of him.
"We will! We will! Fight you! Fight you!🎸🎤" Dalton said singing in a rock voice.
"Yo! What is it with your singing." Link replied.
"Never say no to the trainer you fight!🎸🎤" Dalton replied back singing in a rock voice.
"Okay." Link replied back in a okay.
The battle against the Guitarist Dalton.
"Jolteon! Go!" Dalton said senting out a Jolteon.
"Mudsdale! Come on out!" Link said senting out a Mudsdale.
"Mudsdale! Use Highhorse Power!" Link shouted.
Mudsdale starts attacking with Highhorse Power but however...
"Jolteon! Use Tackle!" Dalton shouted back.
Jolteon failed to use Tackle and took major damage.
"Again!" Link shouted with the same move.
"Dodge it! And use Thunder Fang!" Dalton shouted back.
Jolteon dodge the attack of Mudsdale then starts attacking with Thunder Fang but it doesn't affect to Mudsdale because Electric attacks don't affect Ground poke'mon.
"Mudsdale! Use Mud-Slap!" Link shouted.
Mudsdale starts attacking with Mud-Slap and Jolteon took major damage and fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points. Clauncer grew to lv.36 and Pidgeot grew to lv.44.
"Jolteon! Return!" Dalton said to Jolteon returning to a poke'ball.
"Simisage! Go!" Dalton said senting out a Simisage.
"Return! Mudsdale!" Link said to Mudsdale returning to a poke'ball.
"Pidgeot! Go!" Link said senting out a Pidgeot.
"Simisage! Use Lick!" Dalton shouted.
Simisage starts attacking with Lick but it doesn't affect to Pidgeot because it is a Normal and Flying type poke'mon and now Link commands an attack.
"Pidgeot! Use Gust!" Link shouted.
Pidgeot starts attacking with Gust and Simisage took major damage.
"Pidgeot! Use Wing Attack!" Link shouted.
Pidgeot starts attacking with Wing Attack and Simisage took major damage again and fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points.
Link defeated the Guitarist Dalton.
"Rock doesn't deserve anything, but it's fun when I encounter a trainer every time." Dalton said.
Link received $395 for winning.
Link turns left and goes his way forward and a Bird keeper appeared in front of him.
"One that stands in my way cannot go anywhere. Which means you are not free to fly." Chester said.
"Go! Archeops!" Chester said senting out an Archeops.
