Link walks on the field and encounters a trainer.
"Trainer! Let's battle with my poke'mon!" Billy shouted.
"Sure, Let's battle!" Link shouted back.
"Okay Eevee! I choose you!" Billy said senting out an Eevee.
"Pidgey! Go!" Link said senting out a Pidgey.
"Pidgey! Use tackle!" Link shouted.
"Eevee! Use tackle too!" Billy shouted back.
Pidgey and Eevee attacks with Tackle and both of their poke'mon took half damage.
"Use Tackle again!" Link shouted with the same attack.
"You too! Eevee!" Billy shouted back with the same move too.
Eevee's Tackle is a miss. But Pidgey tackled in a complete target and Eevee took damage in a direct hit and it is a one hit K.O. so Eevee fainted.
Link's Pidgey grew experience points.
Link defeated the Youngster Billy.
"I need practice." Billy said.
Link recieved $100 for winning.
Link continues his stroll ahead and encounters another trainer.
"Hey! I want to be rich, let's have a battle!" Wilson said.
"I also want to be rich too!" Link replied.
"Then let's see who will win and if you lose, you give me my money." Wilson replied back.
"Bidoof! Go!" Wilson said senting out a Bidoof.
"Go! Purrloin!" Link said senting out a Purrloin.
"Okay! Purrloin, use scratch attack!" Link shouted.
"Bidoof! Use growl!" Wilson shouted back.
Bidoof sends a growl attack to Purrloin and it decreases the scratch attack of Purrloin and that gives Bidoof minor damage only.
"Use scratch again!" Link shouted once more with the same attack.
"Bidoof, use Tackle." Wilson shouted back.
Purrloin attacks with scratch while Bidoof attacks with tackle and the damage result is both poke'mon took damage but Link's Purrloin was a critical hit and the bad news is both of their poke'mon had fainted.
Link defeated the Rich boy Wilson.
"Well that's okay. I don't need that." Wilson said giving all the money to Link.
Link received $200 for winning.
Link heads to Petalburg woods and founds another wild poke'mon while he is walking on the tall grass.
A wild Grubbin appeared. Link grabs his poke'ball and said.
"Go! Torchic!" Link said senting out a Torchic.
"Torchic! Use Ember!" Link shouted.
The wild Grubbin used Vice Grip. But the attack of Grubbin failed because the Ember was spitted to Grubbin immidietly. Grubbin took major damage because Fire attacks were super effective against the Bug type poke'mon.
Link grabs his poke'ball and threw it to Grubbin and waits for it until the beep stops. And there he caught his new poke'mon named Grubbin.
Torchic's experience points were gained as well and grew to lv. 8.
Link continues his journey and encounters another trainer as well.
"I will terminate you with my bug poke'mon!" Lyle shouting in a loud voice.
"Oh no you don't!" Link replied.
"Go! Wurmple!" Lyle said senting out a Wurmple.
"Go! Torchic!" Link said senting out a Torchic.
"Use Ember!" Link shouted.
"Use Tackle!" Lyle shouted back.
The attack of Wurmple failed because Torchic spits Ember at Wurmple causing a cancel of any infantary attacks than ranged attacks. In this cases Wurmple took major damage in a ome hit K.O. and fainted.
Link's Torchic gained experience points.
"Wurmple return!" Lyle said to Wurmple returning to a poke'ball.
"Scatterbug! Come on out!" Lyle said senting out a Scatterbug.
"Use Ember!" Link shouted.
"Use Stringshot!" Lyle shouted back.
Torchic's Ember is super effective against Scatterbug so Scatterbug took major damage and it is a one hit K.O. so Scatterbug fainted.
Link's Torchic gained experience points, and grew to lv. 9 and it also learn a new move Sunny day.
"Scatterbug! Return!" Lyle said to Scatterbug returning to a poke'ball.
"Spinarak! Go!" Lyle said senting out a Spinarak.
"Use Ember! Again!" Link shouted.
"Use poison sting!" Lyle shouted back.
Both of their poke'mon took damage but Spinarak is major because Torchic's Ember is super effective against bug poke'mon. And the bad news is Spinarak fainted. It is a one hit K.O. to Spinarak.
Link's Torchic gained experience points and grew to lv.10 and also it wants to learn a new move named sand attack but however... it is full of move spaces. Link made a plan that Torchic must forget scratch and learn a new move named Sand Attack.
Link defeated the Bug Catcher Lyle.
"You burned all my bug type poke'mon in a single hit?!" Lyle said in an angry voice.
Link received $60 for winning.
Link continues his journey and sees Tails wandering around.
