TRIGGER WARNING: talk of Physical/Sexual/Emotional Abuse.

A few weeks pass quickly and unfortunately, that stupid board game that Jughead and Betty are investigating has found its way into Riverdale high, spreading like wildfire to the point where Mrs Lodge came in and said as mayor, she's banning the god damn game. Why is it so dangerous that the mayor herself has banned it?

"Newsflash mom, banning something only makes it more interesting." Veronica says, walking in with a tray of coffee as Betty sits at the computer while I spin on a desk chair.

"Thank you." Betty says as Veronica hands her a coffee, I stop spinning to receive my own.

"Yeah, and now this stupid game is literally all anyone is talking about." Veronica sighs, sitting on the desk across from Betty.

"It's ridiculous." I laugh.

"You're not playing, are you, guys?" Betty asks us nervously.

"B, you don't make Fibes 20 under 20 by prancing around the woods in a deer carcass." Veronica says.

"I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than play that stupid game." I laugh. "Are you and Jug playing?"

"No." Betty assures us. "We're still trying to find out why my mom and his dad were so triggered by us having the manuals."

"Well, you think they played, right?" I ask, Betty nods. "If the game is as dangerous as they play it out to be maybe something bad happened, something they don't want anyone to know?"

Before Betty can even consider my point, the phone rings. She picks it up and greets the person on the other end, her eyes widen for a second before putting a finger over her lips towards Veronica and I, signalling for us to be quiet. She puts the call on speaker for us to listen. V and I move closer.

"Hi, Dr Curdle, Yes! Have you had any luck?" Betty asks.

"Per your request, I did some digging in the morgue archives, I found something I think you'll be interested in." Dr Curdles eerie voice bleeds through the speaker.

After Betty returns from going to see Dr Curdle Junior, she'd invited me over to help her interrogate her mother, while apparently is a pastime of mine.

"Dr Curdle Junior told me and Jughead that the circumstances of Dilton Doileys suicide felt oddly familiar to him." Betty tells her mother, who's mostly ignoring us both as she sits scribbling away while we stand before her. She drops the file on the desk and her mom looks up. "That file is why."

"A case from when his dad was coroner." I add as Betty and I sit down, Alice rolls her eyes.

"Girls, I am right in the middle of my affirmations-"

"Trust me mom, you're gonna wanna look at this." Betty says, sliding her mom the file as we both rest our heads on our palms, eerily in sync.

I'd taken more on board to helping Betty and Jughead with their investigation, partially to get my mind off my traumas, but also because as this G&G garbage spreads like a virus the more it pisses me off.

"Per your Farm 'testimony' you've clearly played G&G before." Betty says as Alice looks through the file. "And now I have concrete evidence that when you were my age there was another suspicious death, maybe a murder, that took place at Riverdale High where the corpse had blue lips."
