Saturday evening finally rolls around, I stand in my bedroom with Betty and Veronica, preparing for the party when there's a knock on my door.

"Does everyone have clothes on?" I hear Fred call.

"Yup, you're good Fred." I chuckle, pulling my clothing out of draws as he walks in.

"So... This party tonight, I know nothing about it, and I refuse to know anything about it." Fred confirms.

"Understood." I say.

"Not too late, okay, Nov? I'd like to sleep in my own bed tonight." Fred chuckles.

"Roger that." I say, saluting at him,

"Alright, be safe girls, call if something goes wrong." Fred says before leaving the room.

"I love Fred." Betty chuckles.

"Me too." Veronica agrees

"He's the greatest, huh." I hum with a smile.

"Now, on to the important stuff. Nova, what're you wearing?" Veronica asks.

"Uh, well. I thought about this?" I say, holding up my black skirt that falls to about just above mid-thigh, and a maroon laced crop top. "With my jacket over top of course."

"Don't you dare wear that leather jacket!" Veronica hisses.

"I'm wearing the jacket, Ronnie!" I protest.

"Fine, but Nova you're gorgeous and you just cover it up with that jacket." Veronica hums.

"It's fine, V. Nova's gonna look great either way." Betty defends me.

"Thank you, Betty. Besides, who am I trying to impress anyway?" I chuckle, beginning to change.

"Sweet pea." Veronica teases.

"What?" I ask.

"Betty told me!" Veronica says quickly.

"Betty!" I yell.

"Veronica!" Betty yells.

"You guys are insufferable." I whine.

"Go get your mans, Nova!" Veronica laughs.

"Shut the fuck up!" I laugh.

Once I'm dressed, I put my hair into a pony tail, and wing myself some eyeliner and put on a little bit of make-up. I also decide my boots are not the right thing for this look and put on those heels Veronica gave me all those months ago.

"Ugh, you look great." Veronica smiles, clasping her hands together.

"Thanks, Ronnie. I'm gonna go see how the boys are doing. I'll leave you two to finish getting ready." I say.

I go downstairs, expecting to see Jughead and Archie messing around, but instead I find everything set up, and Archie and Jughead sit having a drink with Roman and Sid.

"Oh, hey guys. I didn't know you were here." I say.

"We came early to help out." Rome says, as I lean in to hug him. "Couldn't disturb teenage girls getting ready."

"Smart choice." I say, leaning towards Sid.

"You look like a skank." Sid says jokingly.

"Thank you, I try my best." I joke back. "How was your guys trip?"

"It was definitely interesting." Rome tells me.

"The twins were just telling us about them missing their bus and temporarily losing their bags." Archie chuckles. It makes me happy he's starting to warm up to them.
