(A/N: I know i normally put these at the end, but i just wanted to warn you that this chapter is quite a mix of wholesome, and also a lil raunchy. Its around the point where Luke Perry actually passed away. I decided to write Fred in still because i'm personally not ready to say goodbye to the character! Anyway, enjoy this! More coming soon <3 )
I sit cross-legged in the back of the Cooper station wagon, watching as we approach the scene of a tragedy. Betty with her hands tightening on the wheel, and Veronica shifting uncomfortably, the eerie silence only gets quieter.
Veronica had called me, looking for Betty, apparently, Mr Cooper had been being transferred to Hiram's prison and there'd been an accident on the way, ending with a burn out vehicle, and no survivors. So the next morning Betty, Veronica and I had decided to drive to the scene.
We come to a halt by the police blockings. The 3 of us get out of the vehicle, walking up to the blockings. FP approaches us, holding a hand out for us to wait.
"FP, what happened here?" I ask.
"We don't know yet, we're working on it." FP admits.
"It's him." Betty says softly. We all look over at her. "He's back, the black hood."
"Betty's dad was on that bus." Veronica informs FP.
"He was being transferred to Hiram's prison." Betty adds. "He's out there, Mr Jones."
Betty leans against the railing, scared, panicked even.
"No, no Betty." FP hums. "No one survived this crash. I'm sorry."
"You know that he's dead?" Betty asks, almost hopefully. "You're positive."
"There were five inmates on that bus, one driver, six in total. Which is... The number of heads we found." FP explains. "DNA tests will confirm it, if we can't piece everyone back together. I'm sorry, Betty."
FP walks away, leaving Veronica and I with Betty. Brief relief washes over me that Hal Cooper is dead, but fear for Betty replaces it quickly. Something doesn't sit right, I have a bad feeling, but there's no point mentioning it right this moment.
"Betty we should go." Veronica says, reaching for Betty's arm, but Betty brushes her off.
"He asked for my help with this transfer, he wanted this, Veronica." Betty whispers. "What if he planned this? What if he escaped? He could still be out there."
Betty walks away, leaning with her head against the car.
"C'mon, lets get her out of here." I say to Veronica.

"Something doesn't sit right, Babe." I hum to Sweet pea as I pace the living room. "Like I want him to be dead so bad. But something in my gut tells me he's not."
"There were no survivors, Nov. They counted heads and everyone was accounted for." Sweet pea says.
"He's conniving, Sweet pea. He could have us all fooled!" I sigh. "I couldn't tell B or V. B would beg me to help her investigate, and Veronica will think I'm crazy, Betty has reason to be in denial. I'm not in denial, my intuition is just making me spiral."
"Hey." Sweet pea hums, getting off the couch and putting a hand on my shoulder. "It's gonna be okay. We'll all look after Betty. He's gone, okay?"
He pulls me into a hug, holding me tightly. I almost jump out Sweet pea's arms when the front door opens.
"Archie!?" Mary calls. "Nova?!"
"Mary?!" I ask, running into the hallway as Archie comes downstairs
