"Miss Daniels, you're unbelievably lucky to be alive, your attacker injected you with a strange mix of horse tranquilizer and jingle jangle, the amount in your system even now... There's no way you should've survived." The doctor informs me.
I sit cross-legged in a hospital bed the next morning, feeling groggy, and kinda how I assume I'd feel after a night out parting and drinking. With riot night finally having to an end, and god it'd been a shit show, Archie and Sweet pea had successfully gotten me to the hospital after being scolded by police that they should've waited for an ambulance like instructed. The boys insisted there was no time to waste. Fred, Archie and Sweet pea sit in the room with me, all on edge and somewhat relieved for my safety.
"Well, that's comforting." I sigh.
"Your body really fought for you." He says.
"What happens now?" I ask.
"Well, you're not having any reactions to anything, so as soon as the police arrive and have spoken to you, we can discharge you." He says.
"Thank you, doctor." Fred says as the doctor leaves the room.
"Nova... you were pretty out of it when we found you, do you remember much?" Sweet pea asks.
"Yeah, I remember most of it. It feels like a nightmare." I sigh.
"It's over now, and you're safe. I'm so sorry I let this happ-"
"Dad." Archie stops Fred.
"If I had told you to come home instead of trying to keep you awa-"
"Fred, no. It's not your fault. Jay Harrison is a crazy man who thought god sent me to him to become his one true love since he couldn't have my mom. He killed my parents. He killed them out of revenge and lust. He's the reason I'm an orphan." I say. "Him kidnapping me would've happened one way or another."
"I'm so, so sorry babe." Sweet pea says, I grab his hand.
"How did you guys even find me?" I ask.
"You sent us your location?" Archie says.
"I did?" I ask, searching my brain for the memory. "Oh, I did. That wasn't a dream."
"After I woke up on the ground outside the Wyrm, no one was there, I couldn't get ahold of you, or Jones, or anyone. So I went to your place, and I was telling Archie what happened when we got your location." Sweet pea explains.
"Why couldn't you get ahold of Jughead?" I ask.
"Unfortunately, your kidnapping was not the only horror of the evening..." Archie says, my eyes widen.
"What happened? Is everyone okay?" I ask.
"Hal Cooper is the Black Hood." Archie says.
"Wha- What?" I ask. "That can't be...?"
"It is, but that's not all. Hiram Lodge recruited Tall Boy to be a fake Black Hood, who attacked dad last night, and used town hall as target practice." Archie says.
"Oh my god." I gasp. "So... Hal Cooper shot Fred in Pops... And killed Mrs Grundy... and shot Moose and Midge... and... Midge? He killed Midge..."
"And... Nova..." Sweet pea says softly.
"What?" I ask.
"Jughead sacrificed himself to the Ghoulies, last night, thinking it'd stop their all out war-"
"He did what?!" I yell, my heart beating fast. "Is he...?"
"No, he's alright, barely. He's in a different ward to you." Sweet pea says. I nod, sighing in relief. I already lost Fangs, I couldn't lose Jughead too.
