Chapter 20

It was about dinner time when Jennie reached Seoul but she didn't even had time to check her phone and was immediately sent to the company. Nobody in that company knew who she was but she made quite and entrance with two bodyguards by her side and Irene was also with her. They didn't know who Jennie was but they definitely knew Irene. Staffs there were slight bowing and greeting Irene which Irene nodded her head back at them too.

Standing at the middle of the lobby, Jennie frowned and asked:

"Can we go up first?"

"No" Irene said

"Why?" Jennie asked

"Mr Kim is coming down for you" Irene said

"Mr Kim as in my father?" Jennie asked

"Mr Kim as in him" Irene said and nudged her head in front

Jennie followed Irene's direction and saw Tae Hyung walking towards them. Jennie somehow felt uneasy but she ignored that feeling, it wasn't time for her to thing about that stuffs. Jennie forced a smile and looked at him, Tae Hyung looked as dashing as ever.

Stuffs around the lobby gasped, they were starting to guess out Jennie's identity. It was rare enough to see Irene coming down and now it's even Tae Hyung, who could it be if it wasn't the one and only heir of Kim's Group?
Tae Hyung walked up to Jennie and stood in front of her, he nodded to Irene then pressed his lips together then said:

"Welcome back"

Jennie nodded her head and said:

"Why am I here?"

"Your father wants to see you" Tae Hyung said

"Why?" Jennie asked

Again Tae Hyung pressed his lips together again, it was his habit and he did that whenever his thinking, he thought for a while then said:

"You should go ask him yourself, I'm not sure too"

"Okay" Jennie nodded her head and said

Tae Hyung smiled at her and signalled for her to follow him. Jennie walked in between Tae Hyung and Irene, together they went up the building with the lift only for VIPs.

After getting up to the highest floor, the door of the lift opened and it was immediately the door of the room of Jennie's father's office. The secretary in front stood up and greeted:

"Mr Kim, Ms Bae"

Irene and Tae Hyung nodded at him then Irene said:

"This is Ms Kim, Jennie Kim"

The secretary looked surprised but immediately nodded to Jennie and said:

"Good evening Ms Kim, I'm Mr Kim's secretary, you can call me Woo Jin"

"Nice to meet you" Jennie replied

Tae Hyung then asked:

"Can we go in now?"

Woo Jin nodded his head and said:

"He had been waiting"

Woo Jin walked out from his desk and went to knock at the door of Jennie's father's door, he opened it and said:

"Ms Kim, Mr Kim and Ms Bae's here"

"Let them in" Jennie's father replied from inside

Woo Jin then turned over to them three and signalled for them to go in. He then closed the door and left.

When they stepped inside, Jennie was immediately amazed by the view. There was a big window showing an incredible view of Seoul. She slightly captured the view and kept in inside her mind then when she turned her head back, she saw her father seating at the working desk, his chair was turned around and he was facing them with his back, and her mother was unexpectedly sitting at the couch.
