"You're good on this end. The rest is up to you," I look up from my sketchbook and over to where mom stands at a table, dad's face appears on the screen as our images appears in his mask.
"You disconnected the transition lines? Are we off the grid?" Mom ask seriously.
Dad responds proudly, "Stark Tower is about to become a beacon of self-sustaining clean energy."
"Well, assuming the arc reactor takes over and it actually works?"
"I assume. Light her up,"
I watch as mom clicks a few buttons and then the patio outside is engulfed in lights.
Mom grins as she wonders, "How does it look?"
"Like Christmas, but with more," I see dad smirk on the screen, "me."
I roll my eyes. Yeah, this is what normal is look for us Starks.
I didn't realize that mom started going on about business till dad cuts in, "Peps, you're killing me! The moment? Remember? Enjoy the moment,"
"Then get in here and I will."
The machine whir to detach the suit from dad's body as I go out to meet him, Jarvis announces. "Sir, Agent Coulson of SHIELD is on the line,"
"I'm not in," dad says as his face mask is removed. "I'm actually out,"
"Sir, I'm afraid he's insisting," Cassidy presses.
"Grow a spine, Jarvis, Cassidy. I got two dates for the evening,"
I hurriedly jog over to him and throw my arms around his chest. He smirks and squeezes me tightly as I bury my head into his chest. I giggle as I cling to him and he struggles to walk over to mom with one leg is dragging behind the other as he moves, mom is studying the hologram.
