"Shut it down, Doctor Selvig!" Dad harshly calls down to the man below.

"It's too late!" The doctor turns around and grins at us excitedly, "It can't stop now. He wants to show us something! A new universe,"

"Okay," dad says in the same unimpressed, bored tone and he raises his thrusters towards the device.

He fires a beam of plasma and then suddenly I see a blue barrier raise up around the device before it blasts out what looks like a tidal wave. Dad and next tumbles backwards through the air. Doctor Selvig slams into a nearby vent and lays crumpled on the gravel-covered roof.

"The barrier is pure energy," C.A.S.S tells me through my helmet.

"That would have been nice to know earlier," I mumbled.

"Alright. Plan B. Stay put," dad told me, we both drop down onto the tower and my feet crunch down onto the gravel. Dad's suit begins to disassemble from around him. Both dad and Loki glare at each other as they slowly make their way into the penthouse.

It felt like hours that I've been waiting outside while dad and Loki are more likely threatening each other inside. The sound of shattering glass catches my attention and I look only to see dad plummeting towards the cement sidewalk over a thousand feet below. Then a large red pod shoots from the window and follows dad down, it slowly opens and envelops him within an Iron Man suit. The thrusters catch him just before he hits the ground, and then he turns and shoots back up towards Loki who is now standing in the window.

The Tesseract suddenly bursts out like a flame. I looked up, following the beam that stabs the blue sky. My lungs felt like collapsing as the sky rips open and a large hole shows up. Then comes the monsters. They swarm like insects through the hole and dive down towards the earth, ready to purge it of us.

"Right, armor," I hear dad say.

The next thing I know is that I'm shooting these monsters. They shake and tremble from the blast, but they keep coming while more explosions continue to go off. Natasha then suddenly speaks up, "Stark, we're heading northeast,"

Well, it's about time!

"What? Did you stop for drive-thru?" Dad asked. "Swing up park, I'm gonna lay em' out for you,"

The fight continues. As we all fought, I lost count of how many monsters I kill, how many are coming, and how long the fight lasted. However long the fight lasted, we're fighting as a team. Me and Natasha reach the top of Stark Tower and we quickly go over to Selvig, who's groaning in pain. He sits up with a confused look and looks around, trying to figure out what's going on.
