WHEN THEY EXIT THE QUINJET, AJ stands from her usual spot in between her father and Natasha as she holds the excitement in from seeing her uncle again. She and her father haven't been in Wakanda for a while now, she only hoped that her uncle would be there.

Steve gives a respectful smile and shakes T'Challa's hand, "Seems like I'm always thanking you for something,"

At the sight of the Wakandan king, Bruce quickly clears his throat, claps his hands together in front of him, and slowly bows down, "What are you doing?" Rhodey questions him, acting as if he didn't tell him five seconds about to do it.

T'Challa just gives Bruce a funny look, holding his hands out to stop him, "Uh, we don't do that here,"

Bruce awkwardly straightens before giving Rhodey a dirty look that just makes the man laugh.

"So, how big of an assault should we expect?" With a concentrated expression, T'Challa immediately gets to business.

T'Challa begins listing all those on their side, "You will have my Kingsguard. The Border Tribe, the strength of the Dora Milaje, and..."

"A semi-stable one-hundred-year-old man," James Buchanan Barnes walls from around the corner with a new vibranium arm and a wide and content smile on his newly bearded face.

After embracing his best friend, Steve pulls back and gives a happy smile back, "How have you been, Buck?"

"Uh, not bad," Bucky glances at his new arm, giving a half-laugh and looking around at the others with that still present smile, "for the end of the world,"

Not only did her father have his best friend back, but AJ now had the uncle she knew way before HYDRA did all those horrible, horrible things to him. She remembered a time before everything happened, before her father was frozen in ice, before her adopted sister was killed by HYDRA when they first captured herself and her adopted sister, Pamela as bait for their father; during these times, she remembered when he would play their silly games, figure out a bunch of ways to make them laugh, and he even told them a few stories about his adventures. Sometimes she wondered what it would be like if her father was never frozen in ice or if HYDRA never captured herself or Pamela for bait, she sometimes wondered what her life would be if it was... normal.

Bucky then glanced over to see his honorary niece and smiled, "Hey, AJ,"

AJ smiled softly, "Hey, Uncle Bucky,"

"THE STRUCTURE IS POLYMORPHIC."

With an intrigued expression, Shuri studies the inner workings of the Mind Stone that still sits in Vision's head.

"Right," Bruce quickly informs the eighteen-year-old, "We has to attach each neuron non-sequentially,"

"Why didn't you just reprogram the synapses to work collectively?" Shuri questions like it's obvious, making Vision — and pretty much everyone else — curiously look over at Bruce.

"Because we didn't..." Bruce slowly trails off and cocks his head to the side, "Think of it?"

"I'm sure you did your best," Shuri sassily smirks.

"Can you do it?" Wanda seriously asks.

"Yes, but there are more than two trillion neurons here. One misalignment could cause a cascade of circuit failures," Shuri's own expression is serious as she looks over at T'Challa. "It will take time, brother,"

T'Challa nods in understanding.

"How long?"

"As long as you can give me,"

A sudden sound fills the room as the Wakandans' kimoyo beams begin to chiming and an alarm is set of.

Okoye quickly pulls up her hand and soon a holographic image is displayed before them all, "Something's entered the atmosphere,"

From his lookout position outside, Sam quickly adds in, "Hey Cap, we got a situation here,"

A large casket slams down onto a strange dome covering the city, crumbling into pieces and exploding into fire as it makes contact; AJ couldn't help but jump silently into her father's body a bit at the sudden explosion, Steve puts a hand on his daughter's shoulder.

Bucky just shakes his head, "God, I love this place,"

"Don't start celebrating yet, guys," Rhodey calls out, his eyes trailing a collection of other caskets flying through the sky, "We got more incoming outside the dome!"

The caskets smash down hard into the earth, destroying anything in its wake and sending up dust into the air.

"It's too late," Vision releases a pained groan, ready to sacrifice himself, "We need to destroy the Stone now,"

"Vision," Natasha scolds. "Get back on the table,"

"We will hold them off," T'Challa determines firmly, turning from his spot by Okoye. "Evacuate the city. Engage all defenses,"

Steve glances down at his daughter, "You're evacuating with them,"

AJ looks at him and shakes her head, "I'm going with you, dad,"

"Abigail..." Steve sighs.

"Dad, I'm not leaving your side. We're a family, dad, and they fight together. So, we fight together or not at all."

Steve looks at his girl, knowing that he can't do anything to stop his daughter from staying by his side during this. He sighs and nods at her, letting her know that she can stay.

T'Challa suddenly stops in his stride, turning to look over at Steve Rogers with a look of a king, "And get this man a shield,"
