"Aw, Junior," dad hums out in mock sadness as we drop down onto the platform; Steve, AJ, and Thor come up behind us, "You're gonna break your old man's heart,"

Ultron's mechanical voice bums back as he moves up, "If I have to,"

"Nobody has to break anything," Thor says.

"Clearly, you've never made an omelette,"

What?

"He beat me by one second," dad tilts his chin towards us.

Oh god, someone help me.

"Ah, Mr Stark? It's what? Comfortable? Like old times?" The boy—Pietro—said.

Old times? Oh yeah, sure. Definitely better than being in a cave for three months, separated from your parents even one was supposedly in the cave with you? Am I forgetting something? Oh! And just knowing that Obie was gonna betray dad and make his move sooner?

Sure, just like old times (note the sarcasm).

"This was never my life," I heard dad mumbled.

"You two can still walk away from this," Steve speaks to the two people who are still just kids, who are still just kids like me and AJ.

"Oh, we will," the girl—Wanda— nods.

"I know you've suffered,"

Ultron laughs in disgust, "Ach. Captain America. God's righteous man. Pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but,"

"If you believe in peace, then let us keep it," Thor says.

"I know you're confusing peace with quiet,"

"Ya-huh. What's the vibranium for?" Dad asked.

"I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan," that's when everything breaks out.

That's when the fight begins. The group gets split up as they each continue to fight the legionnaires.

"Thor," I heard Steve calls out. "Status,"

"The girl tried to warp my mind. Take special care. I doubt a human could keep her at bay. Fortunately, I am nightly," he trails off.
