Once the violet suit arrived home, it opened up and allowed Briana to leave. She quietly stepped out of her suit and went to her bedroom. Once there, she opened her laptop just in time to receive a FaceTime call from her father. She took a deep breath and answered. He looked furious, making Briana gulped.

"What were you thinking? You could've gotten hurt," Tony said calmly, but Briana could tell that he was furious. "Just because you have a suit doesn't mean that you can go off, fighting! I know about your little adventure today, with the robbers."

Briana paled a bit, how did he find out?

"I found Spider-Man's video files and guess my feelings when I see my daughter in one of the files! Do you even realize that you're doing!? How do you think your mother and me would feel if we lost you!?" Briana felt the guilt run through her body, the guilt piled on the burden on her shoulders. "This isn't a game! You could have died! I can't afford to lose you! I won't lose you!" Tony says angrily.

Briana knew her father was scared. She never meant to scare her father this badly. God, she never meant for that. But the thought of the weapons being out there and it being her fault, she just had to be out there and stop the weapons. She had to do something, anything. She just had to. She felt tears of guilty filled her eyes, but she tried not to show it but was failing badly.

"I'm sorry, daddy! I didn't mean to scare you, I never did! It's just..." Briana said, trying to help him see her side of the argument. "The weapons are made out of Chitauri and Ultron technology, the remains that got left behind after our battles. And the thought of them being out there hurting the people that don't deserve it....I have to do something about it, daddy."

Tony doesn't say anything but just stares at his daughter. He could see the guilt in her eyes, the burden that weighs on her shoulders. God, she just wants to help people and the world. But he doesn't want her doing it at the risk of her own life. He hated the fact that she was just like him, someone who just wanted to protect the world. Sometimes he wished that she was more like her mother, Pepper Potts, but Briana Stark was the best of them both combined.

She continued, "The Avengers are gone, daddy. There's no one expect for Peter, Cat, and...me to keep the world safe. I...I...just knowing that the weapons are out there after our battles, it feels like it's my responsibility to take care of it. I can't just sit around and do nothing, daddy, not when I can help them instead of pretending to live a normal life, but daddy, I'm not normal. After what happened in Afghanistan, I don't think my life was ever gonna be normal again. I didn't want to admit at first, but now I'm ready to admit it. I can't live without this reactor in my chest. I...I'm not normal, daddy. I wish I was, but I'm not,"

A normal life. God, that was all he wanted for her. A life where she would be safe and happy. But she's right, after what happened in Afghanistan, her life wasn't going to normal ever again. There was always going to be enemies coming out at her at every corner, and a part of him knows that he won't always be around to protect her, and that scares him. He can't lose her, but he knows that no matter what, he can't stop her from doing what she believes in and doing what's right, especially protecting the world now that the Avengers are gone.

She kept going, "I never meant to scare you, daddy. But I can't keep hiding and keeping myself safe if I can protect the world, and everyone who lives in it. I just can't. I have to do something. I don't wanna look back on my life knowing that I just gave up on the world. Daddy, please understand. I'm not doing this for me, I'm not doing this to be a hero. I'm doing this the world, my home safe from any more threats. I'm doing this because I don't want anymore blood on our hands, innocent people dying, or people out for our heads. I'm sure that nobody will ever admit it but I'm positive that there's still people out there who hate us. And it's because of us, that they suffered. I want to prove that we're not like that anymore. I want to keep my promise to Mika. I'll say it again, I'm sorry for scaring you, daddy. I never meant to,"

Tony stared at her but then rubbed his forehead. He knows how much keeping that promise meant to her, but he wasn't willing to lose her over it. But because she was his daughter, she then inherit his stubbornness so it wouldn't matter if he took away her suit, she would find another way to do it. He sighed and took a deep breath before he looked at his precious little girl again. He had to keep reminding himself that his little munchkin wasn't so little anymore, she was growing up fast. And he may not want to admit yet, but at some point he'll have to realize that she's growing up but no matter what, she'll always be his little girl, the light to his darkness. And so, if he can't stop her, he may as well support her and do his best to make sure she's prepared for everything that comes her way.

Even for when he's no longer there.
