Briana currently sat on her bed inside her bedroom, thinking's about the ferry. If her father had never came, a lot of people would have perished. She, Cat, or Peter wouldn't be alive if Tony hadn't shown up. She had told her father that she never meant to scare him, but there she went again, she knew that what she did scared her father—even if he didn't admit it. And that made her wonder if all she ever did, was scare her father?
She knew that her father had gone to speak to Peter first. She just happened that everything was okay. She knew how much her father had grown to see Catherine and Peter as a son and daughter to him. She didn't believe him, she had began to see Cat as a sister to her.
As for Peter... despite everything that happened, her feelings for him still remain. The boy still had the key to her heart, and she couldn't bare the thought of losing him. Peter seemed to care about proving himself and becoming an Avenger, he forgot that the reason why he became Spider-Man was to help the little people. That's what made him her fall in love with him, that's what made Peter win the key to her heart. That's why she fell in love with the boy behind the mask.
The minute she heard the door opened, she knew who entered the room. Before anything could be said, she quickly got up and ran straight into her father's arms. She threw her arms around him and buried her face into his chest, letting him know that she felt guilty for scaring him again.
"I'm sorry, daddy. I'm so sorry,"

Over the next few weeks at school, Briana and Cat noticed that Peter was finding himself again. He was back in school, and he was becoming the boy he once was, the one that Briana fell in love with. As for herself, she's been so busy preparing homecoming with Liz and Maya, that she never had time to talk to Peter, till one fateful day...
Briana was heading to the gym to meet up with Maya and Liz to finish their preparations for homecoming so everything would be later by the time, the event started. As she did, she noticed Peter walking out of the fifth period class they both had: Geometry with a teacher's pass. Noticing each other, their paces turned slow as their eyes met.
"Hey," Peter softly said.
"Hey," Briana said softly as well.
It got quiet for a while till they were standing next to each other, slightly staring at the trophy case to calm their nerves.
"Are you okay?" Peter whispered, trying to break the awkward silence and to calm his worries down.
Immediately knowing what he was talking about, she looked at him. "Yeah, I'm okay, I didn't get hurt," she said.
"But you could've," that's when she saw the guilt that were in his chocolate brown eyes. Just wanting to calm him down, she softly grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers, she felt her heart beat at the movement but didn't notice that Peter's cheeks seemed to turn red a bit.
"I'm okay," she said softly. "I didn't get hurt, I promise you that,"
He nodded, not making any movement to break their fingers apart. He felt his heart beat as their fingers remained in each other hands. He looked at the homecoming poster above the case and gave her a soft smile, "I guess, you already have a date for homecoming," he softly said, the thought of his crush going to homecoming was enough to break his heart.
"Actually, I've been so busy helping Liz and Maya plan homecoming, that I didn't really get to that part," Briana said, his face lighten up at that.
"I... I... do... do you wanna... go... with me?" Peter stutters nervously.
Briana blushed lightly, "Yeah, sure,"
"Really?"
"Yeah," she giggled and smiled.
The two of them met their gazes and smiled, each one trying not to blush so hard that their faces would turn red like a tomato. But deep down inside of each of them, they were both smiling and squealing like the big dorks they were.

Once school had let out, Briana had the biggest smile on her face ever. Peter Parker had asked her to homecoming. Once she reached her home, she walked inside and went to find her mother.
"Mommy, I need help,"
