Briana Stark

"The news is loving you guys," Maria Hill's voice rings through the quinjet, "Nobody else is. There's been no official call for Banner's arrest but it's in the air,"

Dad lets out a quick and heavy breath, "The Stark Relief Foundation?"

"Already on the scene. How's the team?"

"Everyone's," he pause, and I can feel dad's eyes landing on me. I buried my head further into my knees. "We took a hit, we'll shake it off,"

"Well for now, I'd stay in stealth mode and...stay away from here," Maria said.

"So, run and hide?" Dad asked.

"Until we can find Ultron, I don't have much to offer," Maria said.

"Neither do we," I gazed out of the rest and allowed my eyes to closed, my head still buried in my knees. What felt like hours, we finally arrived to where Clint was taking us. We all walked inside the green and white farmhouse.

"What is this place?" Thor asked.

"Safe house," Dad answered, looking around.

"Let's hope," Clint tells us over his shoulder before he opens the front door and calls out, "Honey? I'm home,"

A brunette woman, a very pregnant woman, steps out of the kitchen with a bundle of artwork in her hand. Her brown eyes are wide with surprise as she watches from Clint to the rest of us.

"Hi," Clint tells her softly, "Company. Sorry, didn't call ahead,"

She gives him a hug and a kiss, saying back just as softly, "Hey,"

"This is an agent of some kind," dad says.

Thor glances at the couple.

"Gentlemen, girls, this is Laura," Clint speaks.

With her arm around his back, Laura gives us a kind smile, "I know all of your names,"

We all then hear pounding of feet. "Oh, incoming," Clint pulls away from his wife and bends for the children that come rushing around the corner.

"Dad!" The little girl cheers, leaping towards her father.

"Hi, sweetheart!" Clint scoops her up and then hugs his son, "Hey, buddy, how are you guys doing?"

I dazed out a bit and met AJ's glance, who like me and the others, was just shocked and confused to this as we were.

"Did you bring Auntie Nat?" The little girl's voice brings me back.

Natasha immediately brightens from her dismal state and she peers around Steve's shoulder. She wears a big smile as she slowly walks towards the children.

"Why don't you hug her and find out?" Natasha hugs the small girl, happily. I look at dad and hug his arm; out of the corner of my eye, I saw AJ doing the same to Steve. I gazed out of the conversation again as I feel dad's arm wrap around me, the vision came back to my heads.

Oh god, my dad was right. What's up there in space, it realty is the endgame. We can't stop it. We can't defeat it. We can't fight it. We don't stand a chance against it. We're all gonna die. We're dead, he'll kill us, Thanos will kill us all.

He'll kill me.

I'm going to die.

That's my destiny.

I wasn't born to do something great.

I wasn't born to keep the world safe.

I can't make Mika's promise now.

I just can't.

Because I was born to die.

That's my destiny.

To die.

It's not just mine destiny, it's all of our destiny.

In the end.

We were all born to die by the hands of Thanos.
