"WHERE IS HE!?"
Quill scrambled back up to his feet, desperately resining his weapon off into space. He spins in a harried circle, his eyes panickedly looking around at everyone.
Nobody says anything.
"Did we just lose?" Quill whispers with wide and horrified eyes.
Yes, and it's your fault. Briana wants to tell him. But she doesn't. Because she knows that they all share the blame. She knows what's coming to her fate. She knows that she's going to die.
"HE'S HERE."
An eerie silence falls over those still in Wakanda and a thick wind begins to blow harshly around them. The surrounding world seems to nearly whisper, voices brush through the forest they stand in, blowing through the dirt and across open air. And as the wind begins to blow harder, the whispered voices grow more insistent, more fearful, more warning.
Something is coming.
Steve slowly looks around, cautiously putting his finger against his comm, "Everyone, on my position. We have incoming,"
The air begins to shrivel. A vicious blue begins to form across from them, wavering and shuddering as it grows larger and larger until a beast appears out of it.
It is the biggest being that most of them have ever seen, matching even Hulk in height. He is clad in thick metal and on his arm sits a gauntlet with glowing stones set in position.
All expect one.
The heroes all stand side by side, breathing heavily as they all stare down the giant titan.
"Cap," Bruce lowly speaks up, dipping his chin towards the monster. "That's him,"
"Eyes up." Steve's shield takes shape on his arm. "Stay sharp,"
Then the heroes set into a hard and painful sprint towards the giant.
Bruce is first to fall.
Then Steve.
Then AJ.
Then T'Challa.
Sam is brought to the ground by the titan. Each one of them, one by one, are taken to the ground by the titan.
"Wanda, please, it's time," Vision says.
