STEVE ROGERS STARED AT THE picture of the love of his life and mother of his daughter, Peggy. God, he missed her a lot. Sometimes he wondered what his life would be like if he had never decided to be Captain America or anything back then. Would his life be... normal? A life where he could just be a husband and father? A life where his daughter could actually live a life where she wouldn't have to be on the run?

AJ looked over at her father and knew that he was looking at the picture of her mother. She missed her too, and there was no way that she was gonna let her father go out there and fight a war on his own, not knowing if he'll walk back in. She went over to her father and hugged him, "I love you, dad," she said softly.

With his arms around his daughter, he kissed the top of her head. "I love you too, sweetie," he said.

"HOW WE LOOKING, BRUCE?"

"Yeah, I think I'm getting the hang of it!" Bruce yells back to Natasha as she stands on a Wakandan ship, his body lifting off and landing hard in the giant Hulkbuster suit, "Whoa, whoa, this is amazing, man! Wow, it's like being the Hulk without actually-" and just at that precise moment, the man trips and lands face-first into the dirt.

Okoye merely gives him a look of plain old disgust when her ship and the flying Falcon and War Machine all Quick sail past the fallen suit.

"I'm okay! I'm okay!" Bruce cries out reassurance, barely able to catch a break as the Hulkbuster struggles back up and pushes a clump of dirt and grass from its face.

"I got two heat signatures coming out for the treeline," Rhodey's voice suddenly calls out over the comms.

Far ahead, in the burning and smokey timeline, Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian moves towards the edge of the Wakandan dome with smirks on their vicious faces. The large Wakandan ships sharply pull to the side where the rest of the troops await.

AJ slowly sets into a stride after her father and Natasha, easily sliding in between them.

T'Challa shakes the other big man's hand, "Thank you for standing with us,"

"Of course, brother," M'Baku smiles and nods.

FOUR STAND AGAINST TWO IN the midst of a battlefield a long time coming: aliens against human with a tall Wakandan barrier being the only thing separating them.

Natasha is the first one to speak with a mock in her voice and a smirk on her lips, "Where's your other friend?"

Proxima stares directly at the blonde, speaking deeply and without an emotion, "You will pay for his life with yours. Thanos will have that stone,"
