Four

I woke up on the couch cuddled next to Hayes. Oh crap! Dad's going to kill me. I sat up and looked around. All the guys were either on the floor or other couches. I grab my phone and look at it.
18 missed calls from dad.
13 texts from dad.

I look at all the texts.
7:45- 'do I need to pick you up?'
8:00- 'time to come home'
8:23- 'seriously!"
8:48- 'you better not be doing anything with him.!'
9:00- 'I'll cut it off and stick it in his pocket.'
9:30- 'okay come home now.'
10:00- 'Kayla?'
10:20- 'hello?'
10:44- 'ummm?'
11:00- 'your in trouble when you get home.'
12:00- 'Kayla?"
2:18- 'okay I can see your not coming home... But your really gonna be in trouble."
2:45- 'please call me so I know your okay, you can stay overnight I just need to know your okay!"

"Oops!" I say out loud.
"What is it?" Nash says making me jump.
"I'm going to be in trouble." I say sadly.
"Why?" He asked confused.
"I was supposed to be home last night."
He looked at me with disapproval in his eyes.
"What?"
"Why didn't you say something!"
"I fell asleep within the first five minutes of the movie! It's not like I planned it." I giggled making him laugh.
"Well come on, I'll take you home."
"Umm okay?"

I said and we walked to the car. I didn't realize it last night but we only lived two blocks away from eachother.

"Do you need me to talk to your dad so you won't get in as much trouble?"
"Please?" I questioned.

We got out and walked to the door. I grabbed the hidden key and unlock the door. Dad was asleep on the couch.
"Dad?" I say waking him up.
"Kayla!" He said. "Are you okay?"
"Umm yeah why wouldn't I be?"
"You weren't answering your phone! Your in a lot of trouble!" He said not seeing Nash. I pointed to him and he looked over.

"Who are you?" Dad asked annoyed.
"I'm Hayes' older brother Nash."
"What happened last night?" Dad asked.
"She fell asleep on the couch and none of us knew she had to be home."
"She's 13 of course she would have to be home! What kind of Father would let his Daughter go over to a guys house and sleep?"
"I dunno" Nash said.
I sighed

Nash reached for my phone. I handed it to him and he put his number in and texted himself.
'If you need me to come get you later just call me!'
I smiled as he left.

"How many people where over there." I counted mentally including his mom and sister.
"Eleven"
"How many was girls?" He questioned and me not wanting to answer I said
"Two... Three if you count me."
"Your grounded."
"What! Hayes was the only boy my age. I don't like him and he doesn't like me! So obviously nothing was going to happen!" I lied about that.
"You said you thought Hayes was cute."
"Yeah! He's cute but I don't like him." He just glared at me. Probably knowing I was lying.
"For how long?" I ask
"Today and tomorrow."
"Uggggg!" I groan and stomp upstairs.

I go straight to the shower. I undress and get in the shower. I slowly was my hair and dread getting out.

I get out anyways and get dressed.
I put on a light red crop top and light blue shorts.

I put my hair into a side fishtail braid. I walk to my room and jump to my bed. I look at my phone and see that I got a text form Hayes.

'Did you get in trouble'
I quickly replied.
'Yeah... Grounded.'
'How long?'
'Today and tomorrow.'
'Sorry'
'Not your fault... And he will probably just give up and let me leave anyways.'
'Haha! If he dose let you go... Do you wanna come hang?'
'Yeah... As long as you don't let me fall asleep 😂'

I lock my phone and walk downstairs.
"Sorry dad."
"It's okay."
"Do I really have to be grounded?" I say giving him puppy dog eyes.
"Stop! You have to learn your lesson."
"I already learned it!"
"How?"
"Because I made you mad."
"Ugggg! Okay! Fine."
"So I'm not grounded?"
"Sure."
"Can I leave?"
"To go where?"
"Back to the Grier household."
"No!"
"Pleaseeee?" I beg
"Fine." He said
"Thank you!"
"Yeah yeah." He said and stuck his tounge out.
"Love you daddy! Bye!" I said walking out the door.

I decided to just walk.

I rang the doorbell and heard Nash yell "I'll get it!"
He was surprised to see me.
"Why didn't you call me to come get you?"
"You guys don't live that far."
"Oh okay."

I walked in and saw that everyone was gone except Cameron, and Matt. Of course Hayes and Nash.

Hayes had Skylynn in his arms. They were laughing at something. She was so cute! I laughed and Hayes turned around and looked at me.
"Kayla!"
"Hayes!" I laughed mocking him.

Skylynn spoke.
"Hayes?"
"What?" He said sweetly.
"Is she your girlfriend?"
"No Sky." He said laughing.
"Do you like her?"
"Yes Sky." He said.
"You guys I'm right here." I laughed.
Sky gasped like she didn't know I could hear. I giggled at how cute she was.

We sat around all day watching movies. I didn't fa asleep this time.

"Kayla. It's time for me to take you home." Nash said like he was a parent. I laughed and stood up.

I hugged Hayes and walked with Nash to the car. It was 7:45 so it was just in time.

"So.. Do you like Hayes?"
"Umm."
"Come on! You can tell me."
"Fine.. I do like him."
"He really likes you to."
I smiled at his comment and the rest of the ride was silent. When we arrived at my house I opened the door.
"Bye Nash."
"Bye girl!" He said in a girly voice making me laugh.
