Here we are waiting after school to discuss about the project whatnot. I seriously wonder why I am waiting for this stuff anyway, I mean, the normal me would have knocked off an hour before school closes but here I am in the silence waiting for either of them to speak. It has been two minutes and forty seven seconds in this silence and I never thought I'd say this but; it sucks. Looking at my 'teammates' faces was tiring and boring and I never hesitated to show it.

"So..." Finally, the blonde and black haired one decided to break the ice. "How do we go about this project? I mean." She gave a nervous laugh. "You know, eh eh..." She fidgeted with her words and it plain pissed me off so I had to take over.

"I would make my research while you two make yours, then you can work on how to join our searches together. You can call me up on how we'd defend the project..." I wrote my phone number on a piece of paper. " Here's my number, ring me up."
With that, I went away and rode home. Asa had cooked lunch and dinner for me already and left so it was me alone in the big house. How do I do it? You may ask but I've been living alone- well partly alone for two years now so I'm pretty much used to it.

I decided to go shopping for jogging shoes since I needed one right now. For shopping, I have to take a car. The only car I have is a red and gray convertible, a gift from Asa on my sixteenth birthday. I drove to the mall and made my way to the shoes section for men. Girls' shoes are annoying and not to taste.

"Welcome. Is there anything in particular you would like to get?"

Well that voice sounds familiar. When I looked to the direction the voice came from, I frowned in greeting at the person. It was none other than my annoying blue eyed seatmate, I don't know his name.

"Rebrum! Hi."

I swear one of this days I'll murder this guy because of the stupid nickname he gave to me. I narrowed my eyes and gave him my signature blood glare but he just smiled and gave a small wave.

"Good afternoon to you too. Why are you here? The girls section is that..." He trailed off when I frowned harder.

"What's your shoe size?" He asked instead. Good boy. I walked past him to a pair of jordans and inspected it, he followed. "You know it's rude to leave people hanging." He reprimanded beside me. What is his problem?! Why won't he just leave me alone?!

This idiot is a pain in the ass. We kept playing the game of talk and I'll ignore while I checked out some shoes for children. Don't misunderstand me, I detest children especially babies but she loved them a lot. It's Valentine's day very soon and I want to prepare for it.

"This one's nice, is it for your brother?"

Right, he is still here.

I ignored him again and bought ten shoes minus mine and went to the girls section. I did not miss the confused and slightly angry look on his face. That boy would never learn not to talk to me. I bought shoes and clothes of different sizes and left. Then I drove to the art and craft store to get wrapping paper, ribbons, sharpies, glitters and stuff all in Valentine colours and after I bought loads of candy and cookies. Children like toys right? I think I'll buy toys too.

When I got home, Asa was there preparing lunch. After lunch, we wrapped the gifts and stacked them in the living room in awaiting for the red day.

"This time, I hope you would smile when giving." Asa spoke up while arranging the gift boxes. Is she kidding me?
