"Scarlet!" Asa screamed when she saw me in pajamas. What now?
"Morning."
"Scarlet, you can't just be going late to school everyday! Come on, it's up to the bathroom with you. Chop chop!" Asa turned me around and started pushing me upstairs against my protests. When she got to the bathroom door, she kicked it open and pushed me inside. Should I waste time? No. I should not.
After taking a shower, I sauntered into my room only to find Asa waiting for me and sitting on my bed. "What?" I asked. My only response was that she raised an outfit up, at least that is what I could make out.
"Wear these to school today." She ordered as she stood up and the pushed the cloth to me.
I took the clothes and inspected them suspiciously. "These are not my clothes." I observed.
"Of course they aren't! I bought new clothes for you." Asa informed. "You need to wear something other than baggy trousers and over sized shirts, otherwise you will grow up to be a ninety year old spinster."
"Since when do I care about how I look?" I threw the clothes back on the bed but Asa ran and picked it up.
"Since now! You are growing up to be a lady. I don't want you to be a fashion disaster, and besides if this outfit does not make the boy you like stare at you, you can give it away."
"I don't like any boy." I deadpanned.
"Oh God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." Asa muttered to herself but I could hear her clearly. "Which kind of teenager does not have a crush?!" She exclaimed incredulously.
"Me."
To cut the story short, I ended up wearing skinny jeans that were ripped on the knees on a big shirt. At least the shirt is big but the jeans are so uncomfortable.
"Come, let me style your hair." Asa beckoned.
"No. My hair is untameable." I refused.
"Don't worry, I got you." She assured and I reluctantly allowed her to make my hair. She miraculously smoothened my unruly hair and left a side bang that almost covered my eye. "Your hair grew!" She commented and helped me to put my eyeliner around my eyelids.
"Asa, I'm not sure about this." I looked at myself in the mirror. I didn't look much different but the difference was there.
"You look fine, and besides it is still trousers you're wearing."
"If you make me wear a skirt, I would kill you." I threatened.
"You won't. Come eat breakfast and it's off to school with you." Asa said as she led me downstairs to the kitchen. After breakfast and my red mix, I got into my bike and drove to school.
I got to school the same time Sunny and the cat drove in so I parked beside them and removed my helmet before getting off. It was then I noticed a pair of blue and green eyes on me. Raising a brow, I looked at Sunny as his eyes raked over me like some scanner.
For some reason, my heart beat increased. Why?
He caught my eyes on him and turned pink on his cheeks before looking around trying frantically to avoid my eyes. "Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz!" He mumbled the letters of the alphabet before running off.
Ayo corked his head and looked at me in confusion and I shrugged before walking away, trying to calm my erratic heart beat. Why did that happen?
"SENIOR SCARLET!" I heard the sound of footsteps approaching me. I didn't need to turn around before knowing who it was. Bara. My junior who still thinks I am a gay boy when I am neither.
