T H I R D P E R S O N
Logan froze in place when his mismatched blue and green eyes met the evil golden brown ones of the person that haunted his nightmares, Maru. Why? Why now that he was happy? Why? The teenager’s breaths became erratic as different memories clashed in his brain. His legs soon became too weak to support him which attracted attention from the people that were around. They, however, kept their distances the moment they recognized his heterochromia eyes; he was the infamous son of the serial killer.
Upon hearing his ring tone go off, Logan managed to focus and calm down which helped his panic attack and checked the text message that was inboxed to his cell.
From unknown:
Logan, its Sean. Got a new phone so I decided 2 tell ya. Hey u didn’t tell me u had a new grlfrnd, dats awful man, penises b4 pussies! U shulda talked. Anyway, I gtg. Ttyl.
Logan let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding and looked across the street to where he thought he saw his father threatening him; it turned out to be a man waving down a taxi. He had hallucinated…again. Logan looked at the text from his perverted friend and sighed angrily.
The ex-long haired boy had given him a real scare with the first message. Figures, only Sean would come up with something like penises before pussies. Logan shook his head and sent a quick I will kill you text before shutting his phone; the bus had arrived.
Once he reached his home, he collapsed on the couch and heaved a heavy sigh. Today had not been easy for him at all.
“Something happened.”
“GAH!” Logan's heart leaped to his throat at the sudden appearance of his adoptive brother beside him. “Ayo, surprise is the number ONE cause of death for everybody, you know!” Logan whined as he took his seat on the couch.
Ayo gave him a confused look and pointed to the TV which was on. “I’ve been here the whole time, watching TV.” He stated. Logan kicked himself in the ass mentally at the revelation; the last thing he wanted was for Ayo to know his recent hallucination episode.
“I am so tired!” Logan fake yawned. “The bus ride wore me out so I’ll be in my room sleeping, bye.” Logan hastily stood up and was about to leave when a simple command from Ayo stopped him.
“Stop.” Ayo stood up and walked over to the frozen figure of the brunet. He faced Logan and narrowed his eyes sternly at him. “Look at me in the eye and tell me that lie again.” Ayo demanded.
“What lie? Ayo drop it, I’m tired.” Logan denied as he tried to walk away.
“Something happened to you, your actions from now just proved it. What is it? Did you have a panic attack at the bus stop?” Ayo asked worriedly. Logan groaned and spun around to face Ayo.
“Just leave me alone, goddamit! I am tired, my head hurts and I want to sleep!” He yelled and left to his room. If anything, his actions prove to Ayo that something had indeed happened to his brother while he was away and he would be damned if he didn’t find out today.
Ayo walked up the stairs and stopped at Logan's door. He knocked three times and waited for the annoyed reply from Logan. Under the annoyance, Ayo could sense panic and worry which was why he wanted to squeeze the answers out of him.
“I’m sorry.” Ayo whispered softly albeit loud enough for Logan to hear, he was pulling the guilt trip on him. It was a dirty way of getting what he wanted but he had to do it otherwise Logan would do something stupid like last time…Ayo shivered and shook the bad thoughts from his head. “I didn’t mean to make you mad or be pushy, it’s just that I was so worried that something happened while I was away and I wasn’t there to do anything about it. You mean so much to me Logan, wait that sounds wrong but you know what I mean right? Don’t sleep for too long or you won’t be able to sleep at night.”
