L O G A N

I woke up in a good mood today as memories of yesterday invaded my senses. That's right, Scarlet agreed to be my girlfriend. I smiled fondly at the memory and went to the bathroom to do my usual morning routine.

"What did you dream of? You're smiling." Ayo commented as we passed by each other in the hallway. He was just waking up whereas I have finished dressing for school. I grinned at him and went downstairs for breakfast without answering. I remember that he was dancing ballet in a towel only when Crystal became his girlfriend, it was traumatizing.

Breakfast went well and soon enough, I was on my way to Scarlet's house. We agreed to go to school together yesterday to create chaos in the school about our relationship. I pulled up at the front of her house and rang the bell at the gate. The gate opened as soon as I hit the bell and Scarlet came outside with one of her motorcycles. Did she not remember that we were supposed to go together?

Scarlet stopped in front of me and opened her helmet's visor. "Hey, we were going to school together, did you forget?" I asked while smiling a bit.

"No. I don't want to go."

All the happiness I felt disappeared when Scarlet said those words to me. I frowned. "What do you mean? But yesterday..." I asked hoping I heard wrong but I was correct. Scarlet got onto her motorcycle and drove away leaving me hanging. I stood there watching her fading silhouette dumbly. I was confused, sad and angry but most of all confused.

"Yo!" Ayo's horn made me jolt out of my emotions. "Why are you standing there looking like your girlfriend dumped you?" Ayo asked sarcastically. I chuckled dryly at the irony of his words and stormed into my car. I need answers immediately. I need an explanation. Why? We were doing just fine yesterday, she agreed. So why?

I got to school and parked abruptly before storming out to find the redhead. I found her on the rooftop staring at nothing in particular and walked right in front of her. Scarlet looked up and turned around to leave but I ran in front of her and blocked her path. "Why?" I asked. "Why are you avoiding me? What happened to yesterday?"

"It was a mistake." Scarlet said and tried to walk away but I blocked her path.

"Mistake?! You're kidding me. This has to be the shortest relationship ever born in the world. You can't just say that!" I yelled. Scarlet only looked at me and walked away. That hurt. A lot.

"Yo. Can I come in?" Ayo knocked at my door and let himself in even though I didn't answer him. School was a blur today and I was mostly in a foul mood so I can guess why Ayo wants to talk. "You should see the storm cloud on your head. What's up with you?" He asked and sat himself beside me on my bed.

"Go away." I groaned and lied on my stomach, using my pillow to cover my head. I coughed out the oxygen I inhaled as Ayo's weight dropped on my back. He sat on me, that ass! "Ayo you're as heavy as a bag of rice, stand up!" I wheezed and kicked my legs. Ayo stood up from me and flopped himself beside me.

"What I said this morning about the girlfriend stuff, it's true right?" He used his crazy telepathic skills on me and pinned the tail on the donkey. I sighed at how correct he is and nodded. "Want to tell me about it?" He asked. I nodded and told him everything about me and Scarlet. "Wow, what a love web." Ayo whistled.

"It isn't funny." I groaned.

"You know what? Just wait it out." Ayo advised. "Scarlet is the kind of girl to keep things inside. Heck I didn't know she was a girl until lord Mayorkun said so. Maybe she has something that is bothering her, just wait until she opens up to you okay?"
