L O G A N
It is that time of the school year where students walk up and down holding books, lots and lots of cramming is done and people come to school with giant eye bags and dark circles. Even though it is just the midterm exams, everybody is running helter skelter. Except me, I'm stuck teaching Don maths, and Ayo, he is teaching Jordan physics. Scarlet, the school's ace is just sitting on the table with her eyes closed and leaning on the wall, like usual.
Shelia and Sharon are currently revising math too. It's surprising to see Sharon fully awake on a Monday morning. April was doing literature since she doesn't take physics courses, while Phyllis is at a corner solving problems like crazy. Do exams really affect people?!
"You are a nerd Logan, exams might not affect you but it affects other people!" Don angrily retorted to my carelessly spoken thought and was immediately sided by my other classmates, Gallen and Mumbai who tagged along with the teaching. Milan and Christine were hovering around Phyllis now and others were with Ayo.
The bells for first paper rang and sent us to our seats while Mr Heng, our math teacher came in with the questions. He didn't say anything but passed the questions around and we started with work. As sophomore students, we had to work extra questions and take lots of tests to prepare us for our GCSE exams.
As soon as I got my question, I began to solve it. I looked at Scarlet's work to see how far she's gone, golly, she's fast! While the teacher wasn't looking, I turned back to face Ayo, he was just like Scarlet, and Shelia who was struggling a bit but she was getting it. I faced my work to avoid misunderstanding and continued.
Next paper was physics/literature/accounting. My forte has never been physics but I weathered through.
After a week of exams and brain wrecking, the results came out and I checked mine with the gang.
