A Y O

I drove as fast as I could to the hospital, pulled up at the parking lot and ran faster than my legs could carry to Logan's room. I barged in only to be pulled back by a nurse. "I'm sorry but you can't be in here. Please wait outside." She instructed. A doctor and some nurses were in the room and over Logan as the monitor flat lined. They tried to bring his pulse back with a defibrillator but the stupid monitor just kept flat lining. I slid down the wall outside the room and placed my hand over my eyes in frustration.

'I'll kill you if you die on me.'

'Technically, you can't cause he's already dead.'

"Ayo? Are you alright, love?" I raised my head up to see mum in her lab coat. She sat beside me on the waiting bench and gave me an awry smile. "Logan would be fine, believe it." (A/N: reference, anyone? Lol)

"Please hold me." I stretched out my hand. She looked at me with a questioning gaze before softening her eyes and taking my hand. Immediately she did, visions of spilling blood and loud gunshots came to view and I jerked my hand away from hers harshly. "I'm sorry." I panted.

"Do you want to see a psychiatrist?" She asked and I shook my head solemnly.

"I'll be fine, I promise." I assured and decided not to tell her that my inner was back or else she would worry. The doctor came out of the room at last and gave us a small smile. To say I was relieved is an understatement, I was beyond relieved. Mum squeezed my shoulders and told me to go and talk to him while she went back to work.

I entered the room and closed the door behind me. The monitor was beeping steadily now. He still had the nasal canulla and chest tube on as he couldn't breathe on his own yet but he was still pretty much the same. I took a seat next to him and watched as the green light from the monitor fell and rose again like the tides.

"You... Why did you do that?" I asked. The beeping sound of the monitor was my answer and I sighed. Doctors say that people in coma and even babies in the womb can hear what you say to them but is he listening? "If you're really listening," I whispered. "Then open your eyes and wake the hell up."

"The moon is shining in the sky, such a wonderful sight
The owl is flying in the sky when you're sleeping at night
Star dust is sprinkled everywhere to give you happy dreams

Of little pixies, elves and angels with happiness full to the brim
To give you any dream you want, whatever it might be
So when you're about to fall asleep, don't forget to dream of me..."
