{39} Game Night

T H I R D   P E R S O N

The beasts were enthusiastic about Friday night. Why? Oh it's because they were having a sleepover at Scarlet's house again in a long time. The sleepover was to welcome Crystal into the clique of friends. Finally, it was Friday and everybody started arriving at Scarlet's house one by one. The first to arrive were Ayo and Logan, followed by Crystal and Jordan and Sharon. Asa prepared some snacks and sounded a warning note to the teenagers before she left and soon enough, they were left alone.

"Wow Scarlet, your house is big!" Crystal exclaimed.

"You should see her bed, it is so soooft!" Sharon drawled lazily. Scarlet grunted and crossed her arms.

"The house rules are simple. One, do not go anywhere near my attic and two, drink from my red mix and you'll die." She threatened while looking at Jordan who nervously chuckled. There was awkward silence after that.

"A fat penguin." Crystal suddenly spoke up.

"Uh?" They all asked.

"Nothing. Just looking for something to break the ice."

It took a while but everybody got the joke and started laughing. April went inside the kitchen to have a snack while the others settled on the couches.

"So, what are we doing first?" Phyllis asked the group.

"Let's play a game...not truth or dare!" Ayo suggested.

"Okay genius, then what?" Phyllis crossed her arms and pursed her lips.

"I kinda wanted to play party games like that." Crystal muttered to herself but Sharon heard her and spoke out for her. It soon became an argument until they all decided on never have I ever.

"Okay! Rules of the game. You say something you've never done and those that have done it in the group have to eat a wafer stick. There are five wafer sticks for each person so the person whose wafer sticks finishes first has to do something the group decides on. And if we decide to ask a question about what you did, you have to answer or else you would pay a fine." Phyllis babbled the rules after they had formed a circle on the floor with wafer sticks placed in front of them on paper plates.

Here is the sitting arrangement: Phyllis, Jordan, Sharon, Bryan, Don, Logan, Ayo, Crystal, Scarlet, April and Phyllis again.

"Okay I'm first. Never have I ever..." Phyllis's eyes narrowed at Scarlet. Last time, she escaped telling her deepest secret with a prank but today, she wasn't escaping the claws of Phyllis Goldberg. *cue the evil laughter.* "...rode a motorcycle."

Scarlet ate a wafer stick, followed by Bryan and Don. Then it was Jordan's turn.

"Never have I ever drank alcohol." Jordan announced.

Crystal ate a wafer stick, which attracted amazed stares from the others. The girl just shrugged it off and Don ate a wafer stick. Surprisingly, Scarlet didn't eat a wafer stick.

"What?" The red head asked when she noticed their states on her. The lot shook their heads skeptically and Sharon was next.

"Never have I ever fallen off my bed." Everybody rolled their eyes when she said that. It is just like Sharon to say something bed related. Nobody had fallen off their beds before so Bryan spoke up next.

"Never have I ever seen Vermilion's face." That earned him a slap on the head from Jordan and a kick from April. "What?! I had nothing to say!" He exclaimed in his defense.
