After the Halloween spirit had died out, Bryan became even more busy with dance practice as the concert was a Christmas edition.
The year was coming to an end and the next year promised a lot of work and exams for the seniors. The journey to adulthood was approaching faster than any of them wished. The thought of losing close friends and lovers scared them but they knew that nothing could last forever.
Despite how hard things in the future seemed, they were ready to cross that bridge when it approached and have fun enjoying the moment. That moment was Christmas.
The end of the term exams had been hard and now they were on break. The gang gathered together at the coffee shop Logan used to work at to discuss Christmas plans with each other. Bryan was absent because of his practice and the fast approaching concert but the others were there.
"Guys, let's have a small Christmas party within ourselves." Phyllis, the party girl, suggested. She was wearing a white shirt and yellow cardigan on thick trousers and had ear muffs and mittens on.
Everybody agreed to her idea but the problem was that they all had one plan or the other with their families so choosing a date was difficult. Christmas day was automatically ruled out and boxing day was not an option because of Bryan's concert.
"So, before or after Christmas?" Sharon asked. The huge table was silent as everybody weighed the options.
"I suggest after Christmas and Bryan's concert. That way, the concert won't be in the way of Bryan's attendance and everybody would have the time to plan gifts." Crystal threw in her two cents. She wore a blue anorak and white boots to fend off the cold.
"That's nice. Everybody agrees to this?" Phyllis asked and they nodded in agreement. "Good, now the planning commences. Where would the location be?" Phyllis asked.
"Use my house." Scarlet volunteered. She was wearing a red jacket and black gloves on black trousers and red boots.
"Thanks Scar." Phyllis appreciated and scribbled something on her yellow notepad, which she removed from her hand bag. "The food and drinks?"
"I can cook." Logan quipped and everybody except Ayo and Scarlet stared at him with wide open mouths. "What?" Logan asked.
"Never knew you could cook." Don said. Logan just shrugged.
"Everyone should contribute for the food and drinks since it is an important factor. I would help Logan out in cooking." Sharon said.
"Me too." Crystal volunteered.
"Me three." April added.
"Okay so all the girls are cooking... Except Scarlet." Phyllis muttered as she scribbled on her note. "Cool. How about decorations?"
"No need." Scarlet said curtly.
"Oh." Phyllis wrote. "Then entertainment?" She asked without looking up from what she was writing.
"Leave that to me." Don smiled.
"I would." Phyllis wrote some more stuff. "I am on event planning. Who doesn't have a job?"
"Ayo, Jordan and Bryan." April supplied.
"Good. You guys would be the organizers." Phyllis smiled.
"Why do I feel like she's going to overwork us?" Ayo muttered.
"I have an idea." Logan quipped. "It's about the presents. Considering how many we are, I know it would be difficult for me to think of presents for you all that would fit my budget."
