L O G A N

I was released from prison after spring break and by prison, I meant the hospital. It was annoying and I had school to worry about. Sean and Ayo got along eventually and Bryan decided to be my friend again so the gang was back and nothing made me happier. However, good things must come to an end.

The problem is with Shelia. She has been distant with us recently and has been out of town for a reason that nobody knows, not even Sharon. When school reopened, she didn't resume with us and every of our attempts to call her was led to voicemail. The air is bad once again and I don't like this feeling. Shelia...please answer us.

"Hey, did you hear? Bad news is back."

"Heard he was injured. Serves him right, he should've been killed instead."

"He managed to get people on his side. I'm pretty sure it's just an act of pity."

"They can't be that stupid to actually be his friends, maybe they just don't want to get on his bad side."

"Shh-he's coming this way!"

I ignored the whispers I got and walked to gym class with Ayo. It has become a routine to walk around the school and receive whispers or sometimes open insults. I am used to it but I'm sorry for dragging the gang down along with me. We were late because we had to wait for the others to get ready before we were able to change to our gym uniforms.

Ayo, for some reason doesn't change with the other boys or even me. When he found out my identity, he came to change his clothes but ended up cutting class with the gym uniform and even at the pool on our field trip, he wore a wetsuit like I did. As usual, I received whispers and heated glares but those were stopped when gym teacher began the class.

I sat out as a result of my healing wounds and watched from the bleachers as the boys went outside to run laps and the girls played dodgeball. Moments later, the boys came in panting like dogs and so there was a five minute break for everyone and the teacher stepped out for some reason. No sooner did the teacher left the class than a dodgeball hit me square on the head. Laughter filled the gym room and I shook my head at Ayo to keep him from doing anything rash.

"Hey Logan, you stink!" One of the boys called out in a sing song voice.

"Stop that!" Ayo yelled back in protest despite my warning. The guy that mocked earlier turned his mockery towards Ayo. This would not end well.

"What? Am I hurting your boyfriend's feelings, fag?" I stood up from the bleachers to go down to where the stayed before something happens.

"Say that again." Ayo dared.

"Ohhh scary. What is the faggot going to do? Call on his boyfriend's daddy?!" There was laughter. Ayo would do something he would regret if this continues.

"Stop it. If you want a fight, pick it with me." I came between them.

"See that?! These two are secret lovers using Shelia as a cover up!" He yelled out loud and pushed me backwards so that I stumbled and my stitches opened and everyone laughed at my expense.
