So April was crazy about the sleepover idea she had days before so she brought it up during lunch today.
"Who's house?" Bryan asked.
"My parents are at home." Jordan's house was ruled out automatically.
"You don't want to come to mine, Pandora would throw a fit and I'm not locking her up!" Ayo's house was ruled out too. They kept refusing and passing houses until Scarlet spoke up.
"Tch, use mine. I'll text you the address for those who don't know it. Bring your entertainment stuff cause I don't have any." She just withdrew her phone and texted them all the address then she left the table, leaving the lot dumbfounded.
The red head had suddenly decided to join their table one afternoon. It was a comical event because she just sat there without talking, which gave the clique the chills. They soon got used to her presence at the table and they became closer as the days passed.
Friday night came and the gang arrived one by one. The first to arrive was Ayo since his house was closer, then Shelia and Logan came together with Sharon. April arrived next with Bryan, yada yada, Don arrived last and the party started.
"Okay, I have only two house rules. One, you can go anywhere other than the attic. The door is painted red in case some of you 'accidentally' enter and claim you didn't know. Two, do not make a noise. Is that clear?" Scarlet stated the house rules to which there were no objections, only questions.
"What about your parents room?" Jordan questioned.
"I live alone."
"Why?"
"I have hazelnut and chocolate cake in the fridge."
Jordan got the cue to drop the question and went to the kitchen which wasn't so difficult to find while the other boys and April followed him to raid Scarlet's fridge. While they ransacked the fridge, the girls went upstairs to change into their sleep wear. Shelia wore a loose top with cute sharks drawn on it on blue shorts while she braided her long black hair to the left like Elsa in Disney frozen.
"Wow Scarlet, your room is pretty." Phyllis complimented. She was wearing a black tank top on yellow shorts. Her black and blond hair was tied in two loose ponytails. Sharon's favorite spot in anybody's home was the bed and there she was, cuddled up in Scarlet's red comforter and close to sleep. She wore a brown spaghetti strapped loose top on comfy knee length pants/trousers.
"Ohl Sharon, don't go sleeping even before the slumber party even starts!" Shen shook her best friend awake and they went to join the others in raiding the fridge. As for Scarlet, she wore red pajamas and went downstairs to pursue the raiders away from her fridge. The others went upstairs to change, girls in Scarlet's room and boys in the guest room.
"So, what now?" Shelia asks. "Truth and dare or never have I ever?"
"That's too cliché." Ayo complained which gained some nods of agreement.
"It's the sleepover tradition! No sleepover is complete without truth or dare." Shelia argued back and Ayo argued forth and they argued back and forth until Shelia won. She squealed in glee as she got a bottle and they sat in a circle. Here the seating arrangement from Shelia;
Shelia, Logan, Ayo, Scarlet, Don, April, Phyllis, Bryan, Jordan, Sharon, Shelia again.
"I will spin the bottle until it stops. Whoever the bottom of the bottle lands on gets to ask the person whom the mouth lands on to pick a dare or truth."
