Part 23 finale

3rd person pov

14 years passed since both y/n and king two of the 8 sins died. Everyone had moved on but never forgetting them.

Meliodas was in the tavern talking to lady Elizabeth. The sins had disbanded after the death of two of their ranks. Ban was at some unknown location and had been missing ever since he found out the news people suspected he hunter down the rest of the commandments. Diane went back to her country and fought for her people again this time falling in love and having a family of her own. Merlin went on and found herself a new student to teach which she believes will surpass her.

It was in the kingdom and clashes of metal could be heard from miles away. A fight had broken out between a small holy knight and the grandmaster. The small figure dodge and swung a scythe at the grandmasters feet only to have him barely dodge it. The figure took its chance and tripped the grandmaster placing their foot on his chest and pointing the scythe at their neck.

"Alright alright you win the title of The new grandmaster." The figure took her helmet off showing her h/c hair and her two different colored eyes.
Her wings that were once pressed against her back now straightened themselves out. The pink black and lilac colored wings sparkles in the sunlight.

"Grandmaster Lilian it's nice to finally see you surpass me.

Somewhere else in the forage Merlin sat there talking to her student teaching him everything he needed to know. "Alright now at the melted  iron to the potion.." it let off a huge gust of wind that blew the students glasses off traveling his chestnut colored hair and the e/c eyes.

"Good now duke if you drink this you will stop your own time and can study under me forever, are you ready for this?"

Duke nodded his head up and down as he took the potion and drank it all. "Mom and dad will just have to wait until we know everything there is." Duke spoke causing Merlin to laugh.

"Of corse I'm sure they understand."

In the fairy kings forest a young boy was in front of the tree as a threat showed up "spirit spear, increase!" The spear turned into hundreds of golden daggers as he attack a new generation holy knight who lost control.

He fought for a long time until the beast hit him out of the air he managed to steady him before he hit the tree and fight off the beast when he went to the throne room he was bombarded with question.

"King are you ok? How did you manage to fight that thing off so fast!?" He sighed ignoring them and got to his room.

He took off his helmet reaveling his faded hair from chestnut to h/c and his bright brown eyes. He rubbed his shoulder and looked in the mirror, no wings yet. Matthew sighed

"Just like dad huh?" He sat down on his bed laying down then resting his head.

"Lazy bones you said you'd take us to see them." The yang spirit spoke

"Your mother would be very upset if you lied to us" yin doom joined in.

But somewhere far away from that world is another where two people sit hand in hand watching over the three kids. The two of them sat in silence for a long time unblinking not wanting to miss a moment. The two of them watched as the three kids all walked into a market meeting up.

Matthew smiled and waved as Lilian and Duke ran up to Matthew, all sharing a hug. "Are you guys ready?" Matthew spoke, as the two smiled and nodded.

They all walked away into a forest and under the roots of a lead into a tunnel of beautiful different colors of lights and butterflies flying around sat millions of flowers gems and candles and two coffins.

"Hi mom hi dad, we can't believe 14 years ago this day you guys took you last breaths but, you won't believe how far we've come." Duke started.

"I finally beat Gilthunder, I'm the new holy knight grandmaster, and the first female one." Lilian smiled tears brimming her eyes.

"I'm sorry your gonna have to wait a while to see me again guys... I've stopped my time and me and Merlin are going to learn everything we can." Duke once again spoke.

"Momma daddy, I'm new fairy king. I've grown out of my shyness I miss you guys soo much." Matthew finished speaking.

Each child placed new flowers around them and removed the dead ones they made sure everything was perfect before they left the room again not to come back for another month.

The two figures watching them one started to cry. "Harlequin I miss them so much."

"I know y/n I know," the two fox them sat there for a long time "but it's time we get some peace too."

Harlequin stood up extending his hand to his wife as she took it and he helped her up. They walked to the gates that they have sat outside of for the past 14 years watching their children.

"Are you ready?" King asked his wife knowing once they did this it would change everything.

"Ready." They both walked into the gate hand in hand to be blinded by a bright light. Surrounding them

"I love you harlequin,"

"I love you too y/n."
