You had your pencil in your hand, twirling it between your fingers. You took a glance at the clock. 1:45 pm.

Ugh. Math. How the hell did I get into the advance group anyway... I suck at math. I don't even know the damn answers to anything.

"Ackerman, give me the equation, please. Don't use a piece of paper, try to think this out." The teacher said, directing it to this guy sitting next to me.

"Tch. x^2 * 4 - zy + 14(z-3)= 5[ 9 +11(2x -y) +3]." He sighed.

DA FUCK?

"Impressive. Well done." The teacher complimented. He smirks, acting like he's all that. But damn, he's smart.

Hold on. Wait a second...

"Mr. Jaeger?" You raise your hand, asking for the teacher's permission to talk.

Right before he erases the problem on the chalkboard, he glances at you and smiles. "Yes, Ms. (l/n)?"

"Correct me if you must, but shouldn't it be 9 + 13, not 9 +11?" You ask. You took this opportunity to look at Ackerman next to you. His actual name was Levi, but you were so used to hearing him being addressed as Ackerman. Sometimes Rivaille. But his eye twitched. He muttered a vulgar profanity. He kept his annoyed face plastered.

"Hmm, it seems like you're right, Ms. (l/n). Good job!" Mr. Jaeger compliments you. You grin, proud of yourself. You leaned towards Ackerman.

"Sorry, dumbass." You whispered in his ear. You took a good look at him. He smirked, and started chuckling. What was so funny? He leaned up to you, whispering in your ear.

"At least I don't have a 67% average. Brat." You gasped. How the hell did he know your average?

Fuck... I'll show him! I'm smar-

The bell rings, interrupting your thoughts. Everyone starts to pack up their things. You took your dense binders and textbooks out of the student desk, and swiftly head to the door. You let your chaotic classmates out first. You hated confined spaces. The door cleared up of students rushing to their next class. You head out the door, and to room 163. You took a sharp left into a new hallway. You saw a classmate get bullied physically by another.

Wait, is that...?

You dropped your belongings and sprinted towards the scene. You saw Ackerman doubled over on the ground (He's out of character, okay?), with a slight nose bleed and a cut on his lip. Unbeknownst to you, he was disliked by a good handful of people. The person who continued to kick his ass was... wait.

What the fuck?

You got a little bit of a running start and tackled the bully down to the ground. He groaned.

"(y/n)?" The boy said, slightly surprised.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" You said towards the shithead.

"Sorry big sis..." He apologized. Some people that gathered around gasped. The crowd was stunned.

"I won't accept your damn apology, Jean! Go apologize to Ackerman right now, you fuck head. I deal with you at home." You angrily said. You tried to keep your cool. You hated to admit it, but you had a huge-ass crush on Ackerman.
