Anastasias POV
"So how is everything going? Did you talk to your mom yet?"
My phone rest between my shoulder and my ear. I push open the glass doors and exit the building.
I give the doorman a smile and start walking towards the coffee shop nearby. It's been a day and I could use a cup of coffee from my favorite coffee shop.
"I'll be home tomorrow. I'm taking mum out for dinner tonight, we're going to catch up a little more and spend some time together before I get back. I miss you." Christian says on the phone.
God I miss him so much. It's been one hell of a couple of days. Clients in and out, my latest book deal is a disaster. I need to get away.
"So how are things with your brother? What's his name — Hardin?" I grab a table at the coffee shop by the window and set my purse on the table.
"I'll let you know once I get back to Seattle. Apparently he's going to WSU right now. Mum gave me his number so I can reach out to him once I get back. Can't guarantee he'll want to see me. But at least I can make the effort." Christian says.
"Well I'm proud of you. I'm so happy that you decided to reach out to your family. I love you Christian."
"I love you, Anastasia. I'll be back soon." Christian says before hanging up the phone.
