Chapter 50

Hardin's POV

Christmas Eve

"Is this thing working?" Landon holds out the camera trying to get it to work.

He taps it a few times, taking a few pictures on accident. The flash makes him jump. Tessa and I watch from the couch, laughing at my step brother.

Smith comes running in to the living room, followed by Theodore and Phoebe. Sophia hands Addelyn to Tessa, walking towards Landon to give him a hand.

"I can't wait until our Emery is born. She's going to love this family as much as I do." Tessa says looking up at me and smiling.

I look at my girl, falling in love all over again. Every time I look at her I fall in love. She makes me happy. The only thing that makes me feel whole.

"Okay can I have everyone's attention." Vance comes into the living room tapping his glass.

"Before we have dinner, I wanted to thank everyone for coming tonight. I'm so happy to have my family here for Christmas. Ken and Karen, that includes you. Christian and Hardin, I'm so grateful to have my sons here. I never would've imagined the two of you in the same room, but I'm so thankful." Vance says.

He holds up his glass. Everyone follows and we all share a toast.

"I got it." Landon yells out, holding up the camera. "Everyone please gather around. I want to get a picture of everyone together." He says.

He puts the camera on the tripod and everyone gathers around the tree, huddling in close together.

"Everyone say merry Christmas." Landon says. Everyone repeats Landon, saying "merry Christmas" together right before the camera flashes, taking the picture.

"Let's eat." Vance says. Everyone follows to the table and takes their seats.

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Authors Notes

I wanted to end the story on a happy note. I also wanted to end the story with everyone together for Christmas, seeing how it's the holidays. I hope everyone has enjoyed my fanfic on the after/50 shades series. Both series are my favorite, they've given me so much joy and have made me feel SOOOOO much emotion. Especially after (thank you imaginator1D for making me feel so many emotions while reading the after series) also thank you Anna Todd for inspiring me to write my own story that I am currently writing right now "toxic love" it's based off my relationship with a guy who I was best friends with and who I also loved. Hardin and Tessas relationship reminded me so much of me and "whom shall not be named" and I after reading the after series was inspired to tell my story. So thank you Anna Todd.
