Chapter 4: Only Four?

'Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease!' (Y/n)'s mind repeated as she screamed.

Only focusing on the bell in front of her she snatched it from the bell post. Her quick movement disturbed the winds surrounding her letting her roll to the ground quite harshly. They did not think about the landing when they thought of a plan to pass the test. As she stopped rolling to the ground she wheezed at the pain. (Y/n)'s forehead kissed the floor as she took in deep breaths and writhed at the pain. Her right hand clamped around the yellow bell reassuring herself that she had grabbed the bell. She slowly sat straight up once the pain subsided. She looked at the sky and kept panting like a madman. Her heart still palpitating at high speeds.

(Y/n) POV

A hand was placed on her right shoulder and she jolted. It was Professor Blight. He squeezed your shoulder for comfort, "Can you stand?"

You nodded. With shaky legs, you managed to pull yourself together and stood up. You handed the bell over to your Professor. He took it from your hand and stood in front of you. "The others, can they walk?" (Y/n) shook her head, knowing they all pushed themselves to their limits.

"Alright," Professor Blight replies.

He snapped his fingers and teleported the rest of his I-Island students next to (Y/n).

Narrator POV

Professor Blight snapped his fingers, teleporting his students beside (Y/n). Three other students dropped onto the floor also panting heavily.

"Can you three stand?"

The students did not reply but gave an effort to stand up. Professor Blight took notes of their injuries and uniforms. 'Seems like they fought each other again.'

UA, Shiketsu, and Isami stood behind Professor Blight with hanging mouths. I-Island Academy is finally here. A few whispers were exchanged as they watch the dishevelled students catch their breaths.

Kaminari looked at the panting students, not believing his eyes. "Is that all of the hero students in I-Island Academy?"

"Only four students?" Todoroki mumbled in surprise.

Aizawa looked at Professor Blight's back a bit surprised that there is someone else just like him. A teacher who is picky with their students.

The other three students of I-Island Academy finally stood up and looked at their Professor. "Congratulations, you passed the test. All of you."

A sigh of relief could be heard from all the students, "but."

(Y/n) gulped. 'But what?!' she mentally screamed.

"I'm a bit disappointed. The four of you could have passed this test much faster! You only had three seconds left. And didn't even plan about (L/n)'s landing!" Professor complained in a high pitch tone.

Kai having fed up with his Professor screamed at him.

"What did you say!? Disappointed!? And who in their right minds would threaten their students of expulsion if they didn't pass the test and teleported away to who knows where!"

Midoriya jolted from the sudden outburst of the student with black hair. "Oh! Another Bakugou-chan," Asui commented.

Bakugou's right eye twitched at the comment and glared at the girl. "What did you say!?"

"See? They even said the same phrase."

Before Bakugou could talk back again, the guy from I-Island Academy screamed once more at their teacher.

"Not only that but," Kai turned to (Y/n). (Y/n) gulped in return not prepared for the bombardment of insults. "This stupid one-legged dunce almost cost me my position here in this god damn academy!"

"Oya? How did she cause you to almost fail the test Kai-kun?"

As Kai was about to spit the reasons, Suzu intervened. "Says the one who started the fight! Because of you, we could've passed this test with more time remaining but you just had to pick fights on everyone!"

"I agree," commented Axel. "Kai even had the guts to punch (L/n)-san during the timed test."

"Why you! I wouldn't have done that if her stupid explosions didn't get in my way! And don't talk like you didn't punch anyone because you punched me you damn cyborg!"

The three boys bickered back and forth not letting anyone talk. (Y/n)'s brows began to twitch, feeling a bit annoyed with her three classmates. She glared at the three boys with menace lacing every word she spoke, "Shut up."

Everyone who heard her felt a shiver run down their spine.

Professor Blight gave an awkward laugh. "Anyways, since you passed the test let me finally tell you why we're here in UA!"

Aizawa looked at the Professor, "You haven't told them yet?!"

Professor Blight ignored Aizawa and looked at his students. "Now that you all had a taste of what teamwork is, be prepared to work together with more students because we are collaborating for a project called Hero-Teamwork Project!"

(Y/N) POV

(Y/n) gaped at her Professor and glanced at Kai who was already getting mad at the announcement.

"Until your next final exams, or maybe in other semester terms as well, we will be working with Yuuei, Shiketsu and Isami Academy, and maybe more, to improve your teamwork and leadership skills!"

Professor Blight moved away in front of us and gestured to four classes who you didn't notice before. They all stood with unreadable facial expressions; even the Pro-Heroes were looking at us with an unreadable expression.

'Oh my goodness, their first impression of us must be... must be...,' (Y/n) gulped and felt her soul leave her body.

(Y/n) looked down to her feet in embarrassment, knowing full well where this was headed. Humiliation, judgments, insults, her list could go on and on. She knew how much the students back at I-Island treated them. The first-ever hero class in I-Island Academy, you thought, would have been acknowledged with greatness and pride. However, the hero class was treated with menace and jealousy; other students taunted them and isolated them, making Kai, Suzu, Axel, and yourself alienated from the others.

With a deep breath, you looked up, bracing yourself for the worst-case scenario. Your eyes made contact with emerald eyes, shining with interest. Students around the said eyes also gleamed back at her own with surprise rather than the usual glares. You blinked not believing what you've seen. You were very much confused and furrowed your brows.

'What the?' you decided to look at Axel who was next to you and who wore a surprised look. Axel also looked back at you.

"(L/n)-san?!" Axel suddenly panicked.

You tilted your head in confusion at his sudden change of tone and mood. But before you could ask him what's wrong, your vision began to spiral feeling the all-too-familiar chills coursing through your body. The last thing you felt was Axel's exposed robot arms wrapping around you.
