Predicting what your classmates were about to do, you lunged yourself forward to try and intercept whatever they were about to do to the exposed girl. You quickly made way into the crowd as you saw Suzu specifically using his quirk to shove everyone out of the way. The students who were shoved yelped in panic, and in a quick second, you can see the pathway Suzu made for himself directly to the girl.

By now your mind raced of unplanned thoughts as to how you will even deal with your furious classmates. But in an instant, an idea popped up in your head. You've let your instinct override your actions as you created a dialogue in your head. And with that, you managed to get behind Suzu despite your physical conditions.

Narrator POV

Aizawa sighed first before his hair began to slowly rise. His irises have also begun to emit red hues as he activated his quirk. Suzu, who is in the process of angrily moving forwards the girl did not feel his quirk deactivate, yet he continued forward with (Y/n) trailing closely behind him. Axel, who was in the air trying to get close to the girl, dropped to a pile of students as Aizawa glanced at him. And with Kai, he wasn't even using his quirk. He surprisingly did not move from his seat and continued to stare at his daring classmates.

Kai sighed, wanting to do something with his bottle up feelings but he trusted (Y/n)'s judgments. It may seem unfair, but she has not disappointed any of them with the decisions thus far. And by the looks of it, complicating the situation is not necessary at this time.

"You piece of shit! You're in a fucking hero course right?!" Suzu finally spoke.

His statements sent the students who watched from afar gasping in shock. And with that, whispers began to arise as they watched the drama unfold before them. The first years of the hero course all held their breath, witnessing the amount of burden the girl had brought upon herself.

"Answer me you fucking bitc—!"

(Y/n) finally caught up to Suzu and clamped his mouth before he could finish his sentence.

"Suzu! Please, calm down!"

Suzu took hold of (Y/n)'s hand and turned around to face her. She was met with a heart-crunching look; a look no one would want to see, a look that can make you cower in fear due to its overpowering tone. Suzu's grip tightened around (Y/n)'s wrist and made her wince in pain.

"How can I!?" He screamed. "How can I when I know who almost killed you!? They deserve the same beating they did with you!"

And after that sentence, everyone turned quiet and just stared. Suzu's eyes twitched and began to swell up in tears again. (Y/n) bit her lips, facing a dead end. It is truly hard to face someone so right, yet so wrong at the same time.

(Y/n) gulped and collected her thoughts again before speaking. She gently placed her other hand where Suzu's hand gripped tightly around her wrist.

"I know how you feel. But you need to calm down," she started.

"Calm down!?" His grip tightened, "You're telling me to calm down when she's not getting what she deserves, she's not facing her problems, and she's not admitting to her mistakes!? Tell me (L/n)-san! Tell me why I should calm down!" He snapped.

(Y/n) winced at the grip, but brushed it aside again.

"Because this is not what heroes do," she calmly replies Suzu.

Suzu turned quiet, now facing her with a sense of realization.

"What you're doing is revenge. I may have almost died, but I am still right here. Right in front of you! Still holding..." (Y/n) brought Suzu's hands against her chest right on top where her heart is beating. "Still alive," she finished.
