Chapter 23: Divine Punishment

A few minutes ago

(Y/N) POV

You sighed for the hundredth time in the morning while you fixed the blue necktie on your uniform. "What did I do to deserve such a horrible encounter..." you trailed off. Fixing the collar of your dress shirt, you now put on your red skirt that was too short for your liking. The purple-haired boy flashed once again in your head, and you flushed in frustration.

You didn't bother to put on your black and white blazer since you still had to eat breakfast. You took out your phone to look at yourself in the selfie mode. You looked decent and that was enough for you right now. Your stomach began to rumble and you decided to finally go downstairs where all the Class 1-A students may be eating right now. You were about to walk out of your room, but something from your boxes of luggage took your attention.

You decided to take your kendo sword, the bamboo wooden sword you use for practice, and left your room in a hurry. 'He shall meet his doom if he does not apologize to me the second he sees me!'

You clicked the button to the elevator and couldn't help yourself but be giddy to punish the purple-haired boy. You stepped into the elevator once the doors open and pressed 1 to go downstairs. Your hold on your kendo sword tightened as the doors of the elevator opened. However, to your surprise, Dark Shadow floated in front of you. You blinked and tilted your head before heading out of the elevator.

"Dark Shadow? What are you doing here?"

"Are you alright?"

"Huh?"

"Mineta scared you this morning, did he not?"

You stood in front of Dark Shadow in confusion, still wondering why he was worried about you. But then, you noticed the deafening silence and decided to look away from Dark Shadow. You were right, students were littered around the lodging area, some eating breakfast and some huddled together. You peered your eyes at the huddled group and saw the familiar purple colour behind a blonde boy who is quivering.

Without any warning, you stepped out of Dark Shadow's way and walked towards the huddled group. You gripped onto your kendo sword tightly and brought it over to your head.

Narrator POV

Some students gasped and got out of your way; except for Mineta who was too busy looking away from the elevator and hiding behind Aoyama's legs. Aoyama, however, feared for his life and left Mineta crouching on the floor by himself.

Mineta was about to look up but saw only a girl's slipper and a metal peg in his view. He gulped, already wanting to be turned to ashes and disappear forever. He slowly looked up some more and met a nightmarish look on the girl he had accidentally peeked at.

He stumbled and practically bear-crawled backwards away from the girl. However, with flames literally burning her left eye, she gripped onto the kendo sword and swung at Mineta's face.

"Wait, wait!—"

"Divine Punishment!"

The birds outside Class 1-A's dorm fluttered away, frightened from the sudden girly screams. Mineta screeched like a girl, holding onto his right cheek. Comical tears rolled down from his eyes at the sickening mark that began to form. Not only was he slapped really hard on it, but now it was whipped by a bamboo sword!

Dark Shadow immediately took hold of (Y/n) and flung her kendo sword towards the couch. (Y/n) frantically tried to escape Dark Shadow while pointing her index finger at the soul ridden Mineta.
