Chapter 61: Complex Planning

NARRATOR POV

Principal Nezu once again looks to the vast property of his school. His mind is heavy with the roaming villain, the I-Island students, and Principal Law. He did not feel like drinking his tea, nor even bother brewing tea at this time.

As he stared longer through the glass wall, his eyes focus on his reflection showing his disturbed appearance. His ear twitched, as does his nose when he hears the door of the teacher's conference room open. He watches diligently through the reflection, watching the teachers file in before the bell rang.

"Nezu, sir, you called us?" All Might started.

"Why yes, I've much to discuss to you all of you," Principal Nezu finally turns around to face them. The teachers stayed silent waiting for Principal Nezu.

"It's about I-Island Academy."

Aizawa arched his brow, he expected the Principal to inform the other teachers about the runaway villain. Even though the reveal from the I-Island students last night is something beyond anyone would ever think of, it might be too risky to start the conference with the academy.

"So, are they pulling back from the Hero-Teamwork Project?" Cementoss immediately asked.

"No, rather they are taking extra precaution and sending extra defences while their students are here."

Power Loader slammed a fist on the table, "who do they think they are, thinking they could do as they please? Our defence is already a formidable fortress, we've learned this much from the USJ incident!"

Other teachers nodded to Power Loader's statement but Principal Nezu tightened his lips as he watched some of them jump into conclusions.

"A villain managed to slip through and have targeted one of the I-Island students," Principal Nezu says over their voices.

By now the conference room turned as quiet as a library as some teachers are still trying to comprehend what Principal Nezu just said.

"You heard me. A villain had managed to slip through our gates... again."

All Might cleared his throat, "so... what is I-Island Academy offering us?"

Principal Nezu patted his blazer from a speck of invisible dust and finally took a seat. His right paw dug into his pants' pockets and took out a white button and placed it on the table. "I had a personal call with I-Island Academy's principal. He is quite distraught that we were not able to prevent this particular villain from entering our school. It seems that this villain had a history with their hero students."

Vlad King grunted, "is the villain still in school grounds?"

"Not that we know of, hence, why I-Island Academy is willing to upgrade our defence system. They recognize—even before we can, that we are incapable to prevent this certain villain from their hero students," Principal continues.

"' Incapable' you say? We're pro-heroes," Inui growled. "Handling villains is our expertise."

"You have a point Inui, but with this particular villain, they were able to capture it with minimum effort. And faster than Aizawa and Yamada together."
