Narrator POV

A few minutes after the lunch bell had rung

Present Mic leads his English class towards the rooftop of UA's main building. He had considered taking his general studies' English class to the roof where his class can create poems from their surroundings. Going down by the entrance and sitting on benches is too boring and generic, so he decided to take his class upstairs.

Shinso Hitoshi, who is among the general studies, sighed deeply noting it will be another boring English class. He followed promptly behind Present Mic, wanting to have a good spot on the rooftop all to himself. 'I mean, who works on English poems with others?' he thought. Present Mic looked back to his students before he opened the door.

"Alright everyone, you know the drill! Do not take this time for granted because I will grade you on your creativity! And remember not to get too close to the edge."

"Yes, sensei!" they all screamed in unison.

As Present Mic swung the door wide open, he barely budged from his spot causing his students to tell him to walk forward already. Shinso was about to look around Present Mic to see what he was staring at but Present Mic finally shifted forwards. Everyone who was behind Present Mic all stared in horror at the scenario they first saw on the rooftop.

Girls who have seen the unconscious body on the floor screamed in terror and was quick to grab their phones to call an ambulance, the police, whoever is needed for an emergency. Shinso continued to stare at the bloodied person and finally shook off his half-conscious state when Present Mic told them to come to the roof quickly.

"All of you come onto the rooftop now!"

Everyone rushed, leaving the door shut behind them and continued to stare at the beaten up person. Present Mic was busy contacting the school and warning the faculty members of the incident on his phone. In a matter of seconds, everyone can hear the school going in lock-down.

"Present Mic, did a villain do this!?"

"What should we do!?"

"Present Mic, an air ambulance is coming!"

"We finished calling the police, they're on their way!"

Present Mic tried to calm down the students from their rambles of terror but eventually used his support item's heightened volumes to get everyone back in order.

"All of you, I know this will be scary, but let's wait until the air ambulance arrives and we can all head back to class together."

Shinso muted out Present Mic as he spouted orders to his panicking classmates. He couldn't help but stare at the student who was beaten up.

"It's one of the I-Island students from the cafeteria," he said out loud.

His other classmates heard what he said and also began their input.

"Yeah, wasn't she the one who got told off because of her robot?"

"Do you think it was one of the students?"

"No way! Only a villain can do a heartless thing!"

"Look! It's the robot from lunchtime!"

Present Mic all heard his students' remarks and began to speculate if it is a student who did this to (Y/n). His thoughts were abruptly stopped when the air ambulance finally came into view. Strong winds whipped his class' faces as it hovered above UA's building. Paramedics wearing a white hard hat with a big red cross on it and wearing bright and yellow-orange paramedics uniform began to descend from the helicopter with a stretcher. Ladders swinging back and forth with paramedics already informing what they have seen to others through their communicators. Present Mic let them handle their work, still watching over their procedures to get (Y/n) into the air ambulance.

The students, however, all watched in horror at the I-Island's injuries as the paramedics turned (Y/n)'s body to place her onto the stretcher. Blood soaked into (Y/n)'s uniform and pieces of food still staining her white dress shirt.

"Present Mic, we will be taking her to the nearest hospital. We will contact the school with more information. Just wait until the police have arrived to watch the school's perimeter," one of the paramedics informed Present Mic. "We don't know if villains are roaming around the school so please be careful."

The pro hero nodded and watched the other paramedics in the helicopter began to pull the ladder with the two paramedics holding the stretcher with (Y/n) safely strapped in it. The air ambulance finally flew away with (Y/n) now safely in the helicopter's body. And with that, Present Mic turned to his students.

As promised to his students, he quickly let them run through the hallways to get back to their homeroom class. Present Mic let them run ahead, but he did a last-minute decision to turn the hallways into the heroics. Of course, some of his students followed him due to fear of a possible encounter of the villain roaming around or not wanting to be alone in the eerie atmosphere the school held with how quiet the school corridors had become in the lockdown. The overall atmosphere sent all their hearts racing as if they all had a time limit to get back to their classrooms.

When Present Mic finally reached Class 1-A, he told his students to wait for him outside the class. Of course, some students protested but he reassured them that it would only take a minute. The students finally agreed to his terms and quieted down in the hallways.

Shinso sighed deeply as he watched his teacher enter the class.

"Shinso, why aren't you scared?"

"You don't think I am?"

"You don't look like it."

Shinso faced his classmates, "of course I am, who wouldn't be after seeing the injuries of that girl."

His classmates grew quiet, not knowing how to continue the conversation. After a minute has passed, Shinso and his classmates can hear Present Mic talking with Eraser Head. The conversation was short and informative, but what they all did not expect was a loud 'what' abruptly dropped into the pro heroes' conversation. The students outside Class 1-A all looked at each other in confusion but straightened themselves once they hear Present Mic walking out of the class.

What they did not expect, however, was the obnoxious infamous Bakugou to be trailing behind Present Mic with an unreadable expression. Shinso furrowed his eyes, now becoming more confused with the whole situation.

"Alright everyone, I will lead you all back to your class. Do not lag behind and stay close," Present Mic says after closing Class 1-A's doors.

The group ran through the hallways with Bakugou keeping up with Present Mic. Of course, Shinso stole a couple of glances to the representative of the first years of UA. Bakugou grew irritated and spoke out his thoughts with no hesitation.

"The hell you looking at, extra?! If you want to say something then spit it out!" Bakugou yelled without looking at Shinso.

Shinso's eyes slanted at Bakugou, not expecting for him to notice his side glances. He first cleared his throat then boldly asked Bakugou, "do you have an idea what happened to the girl?"

Bakugou's shoulders stiffened and Shinso could see his fists slowly clenching as they ran through the hallways. Bakugou did not reply Shinso and stayed quiet throughout the journey to the General Studies' homeroom. As soon as Present Mic have dropped off the rest of his students at their class, he immediately told Bakugou to keep following him.

Shinso grew more curious about what Bakugou could know of the whole rooftop scene. But before he could ask his question again, Bakugou shot Shinso a deathly glare and left running to Present Mic. His class president quickly closed and locked the door and told everyone to stay low.

"What are you doing Shinso!? You cannot possibly be picking fights with that obnoxious Class A sludge bastard! We're in lockdown for All Might's sake!"

Shinso sighed again and scratched his messy purple hair, "yes, class president." Before he followed his class president's orders, he looked back to the closed door again and had a flashback of Bakugou's expression after his bold question.

'What on earth do you know... to react that way?'
