Chapter 18: Inconveniences

As all of you walked back to the exit of USJ you couldn't help but think about your official first day in the Hero-Teamwork Project. A lot of unexpected things have happened, many things you weren't prepared for, and now the class is almost over and you're about to move into a dorm. Your stare intensified to the ground as you thought about it.

Suzu, once again, was the first to notice your mood and nudged you on the shoulder again.

"Hey, are you still thinking about the teeth kiss?" he quietly whispered.

Your face immediately flushed a bright red and you looked at him in surprise. "Stop calling it that Suzu-san! It is embarrassing! I wasn't even thinking about that!"

The other students glanced over to you at your sudden outburst and quietly observed you and Suzu's conversation.

"Why? I mean... you guys did do it," Suzu trailed off.

"Don't forget, they even hugged for a long time during the lesson," Kai suddenly butted in.

You shrieked at both of them and quickened your pace to avoid their teasing. You lowered your head even further and tried to match your walk next to Axel. Your classmate seemed to catch up quickly and turned to your other two classmates.

"Stop it you two, she's clearly not in the mood for any of this."

"Then what do you think was troubling her Axel-san?"

Kai rolled his eyes, "it should be pretty obvious now what she should be worrying about next."

Even you were confused as to what Kai was referring to. You tilted your head and thought about it for a moment. And suddenly your brain clicked and your face scrunched up in disgust.

"Oh no, we are not going to go back to it!"

Professor Blight chuckled upon seeing your reaction as everyone approached the entrance of USJ. You were all ascending the stairs and your eyes frantically moved back and forth around the surroundings. Your classmates were used to you being frantic before you got on a vehicle, but with others, you looked like you were about to pass out!

The colour of your skin began to turn pale, and you were having a cold sweat. You became a stuttering mess at each step you took on the stairs. Axel sighed at the sight of you and began to pat your back.

"It's just fifteen minutes (L/n)-san."

Narrator POV

Midoriya glanced over to you quietly making sure none of his classmates saw him. He wondered why (Y/n) began to act weird after taking the steps on the stairs. He wasn't going to lie to himself, but he couldn't get her out of his head. He cannot even believe he got kissed by a girl, or even hug them on purpose. He decided to look away from (Y/n), and look forward to where he was going, but his hands unconsciously brushed the bottom of his lips where a bit of dried blood had clotted.

Sero noticed Midoriya's hand gesture and harshly nudged him.

"What are you thinking there, huh Midoriya?" he asked teasingly.

Midoriya flinched and replied in a higher octave than his regular voice, "W-w-what?!"

"I see that you are..." he trails off while looking at something on his face.

Midoriya blushes brightly and instantly covered his face with his hands. "I-Its not what you think Sero-kun!"

Ashido grinned and decided to swing her arm around Midoriya. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about! It was just a little kiss Mi-do-ri-ya!" she emphasized.
