After Sam stopped crying, he headed to what was now 2nd period.
Yes, Sam cried for a whole 30 minutes.
When he was about half way there, he heard the speaker turn on.
"Sam Golbach, come to Ms. Lundy's room. Sam Golbach."
And that's when another memory came flooding back.
"Colby Brock and Sam Golbach report to Mr. Castee's room. Now. Colby Brock and Sam Golbach."
The couple chuckled, shushing each other as they heard their names on the announcements.
All of their teachers knew they liked to skip class, so when there wasn't anything said, there was something wrong or they were both coincidentally absent.
They were wandering the halls when they heard the speakers, so they ran into the bathroom, knowing they would get caught by a teacher.
They hid in a stall, smushed together as they laughed.
"We're so going to get in trouble." Sam said, giggling.
"You say that every time, but we never get caught." Colby replied, trying to whisper.
They heard a man clear his throat before he knocked on the stall.
"Sam. Colby. I know you're in there."
Sam looked at Colby with a knowing look.
"God damn it. See? Told ya."
Colby stammered, not knowing what to say.
They unlocked the stall, walked out, and avoided contact with the teacher, and headed for class.
Sam started crying again, turned around and went to his locker.
He opened it, put the books back and got his backpack out, and put it on his back.
He headed for the doors to leave the school as another memory came.
Sam was crying.
"See you on the other side?" He asked the brunette, a tear falling down his face.
"See you on the other side. I love you, Sam." Replied Colby, tears falling from his eyes.
"Love you too." Sam said, turning to leave the meadow.
"Forever?" Asked Colby as he held out his pinky, causing Sam to turn around.
"Forever." Sam walked up to Colby, wrapping his pinky around Colby's as he hugged him tightly.
When they let go, Sam walked away from their favorite spot, leaving his boyfriend heartbroken as he walked away, leaving him in the dust.
Sam walked out of his backyard to his destination.
It was the meadow that he and Colby had loved all so long ago.
Since it was just outside of his yard, he just walked 5 feet and he was already there.
He laid down on the ground, curling up into a ball as he sobbed.
"See? I told you I would come back one day." He said, getting his phone out from his hoodie pocket.
He powered it on, opened his messages, and read all of the texts he and Colby had texted.
He scrolled up, showing that he was the only one that texted anymore.
The last text Colby had sent him was one saying he made it to LA.
It was sent almost 4 years ago.
Colby promised to text Sam everyday, but he didn't keep that promise.
He didn't even keep the promise of never hurting Sam.

Wow. This is longer than usual. Hopefully I can make them this long or longer. I just thought this would be the place to end the chapter. I promise I'll continue on the next chapter. Okay. Bye.
