I woke up to the sound of laughter and music.

Beside me, was a low rumbling like noise, so I looked over.

There Sam was, sleeping like a baby.

I looked to my right to see the alarm clock.

11: 50

Groaning, I rolled back over to my left, shaking Sam.

"Sam. Wake up. It's 11:50."

He tossed in his sleep, mumbling about something.

After like 2 minutes, Sam finally woke up.

"Huh?"

He mumbled, wiping the tiredness from his eyes.

"It's 11:50."

Sam yawned like a little kitten as he sat up.

I just smiled at the cuteness.

"Come on. Let's go downstairs."

He nodded and we both got up, walking down to the living room.

Everyone was partying already, drinking, cheering, listening to music.

"Hey, guys."

Katrina said, wobbling from the stove to us.

"Hey, Kat. How long has everyone been partying?"

She randomly started laughing as she hiccuped a couple of times.

"Oh, I don't know. 10 maybe?"

I just sighed, not surprised at all.

"Okay."

She walked off to Shea and the rest of the group in the kitchen.

We followed, going to hang out with the somewhat sober ones.

"Hi! Cassie! Get over here!"

Xepher squeaked, stumbling as she ran towards us.

"Hey. Who's Cassie?"

"5!"

"Eeeek! It's starting!"

"4!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

I grabbed Sam by the waist and turned him around towards me so I could kiss him.

We heard sudden gasps as we pulled apart, confused.

When I turned to see what it was, all I saw was Xepher and the Cassie chick making out.

"Oh God. Not again."

Sam said, turning around.

I just chuckled, looking at the others and suddenly noticing that everyone was making out.

When the hell did this happen?

Aaron was with Reggie, Kat with Shea, Corey with Elton, go figure, for some odd reason, Kevin was with Mike, Jake was with Griffin? Devyn with Tara? And Aryia? Who's he with?

Wait a minute.

What?

"Sam. Am I the only one seeing this? Or am I going crazy?"

I turned to look at him, seeing as he was as confused as me.

We just stood there, watching.

"I don't know."

Once everyone, well, almost everyone stopped, we walked over to the huge circle.

"What happened here? We were upstairs for like an hour, then all of the sudden, everything is weird."

They just looked at us like we were insane.

"Huh?"

I huffed out a breath, pushing my bangs back.

"What is going on?"

They just blinked and didn't say anything.

"Devyn was with Corey, Tara with Jake, and everyone else was just not together, but then that changed. When? How? Why?"

If they didn't look at the ground they looked at each other.

Finally, Jake shrugged.

"Well?"

Sam asked, throwing his hands up in an exasperated way.

"We all knew we liked each other, but didn't tell you guys because we didn't want to tell you guys."

Jake shrugged, holding Griffin's waist.

"Why did you not want to tell us?"

He just shrugged again, snuggling his nose in Griffin's collar.

"Okay, okay. Just please don't keep secrets from us. We're friends and you shouldn't have to hide anything."

I said, laying my arm on Sam's shoulder.

We fell into silence as the music covered the awkwardness.

"So, what now?"

"I don't know."

I saw Sam's face suddenly light up, probably getting an idea.

"We can go play Twister?

He chimed, jumping up a little.

His excitement caused me to laugh as everyone agreed.

"Okay. Let me go get it."

I said, running to the closet in my bedroom.

The game was mine and since it was with my stuff, it went in there.

There were other games like Monopoly, Shutes and Ladders, Hungry Hippos and a lot of other games.

I ran back towards the stairs with the game in my hand.

When I got to the first step, I accidently missed it and tripped.

All I saw was the walls and railings spinning as I felt pain going through my body.

I did end up stopping, but I couldn't move.

"Colby!"

I heard someone yell as they were most likely running towards me.

At that point, I tried to move my head, but when I tried, I couldn't.

What sounded like frantic sobs and breaths came from whoever was now beside me.

"Colby! Colby!"

Everything was blurry and muffled, but I could see a blur of yellow hair.

Sam.

My heart sunk as I realized he couldn't tell I was trying to talk.

"Someone call 911! Colby fell and there's blood everywhere!"

I tried to keep my eyes open as I saw everyone start running around me but I couldn't.

"No! Don't close your eyes, Colby! Please stay awake! An ambulance is on its way!"

My eyes shut and I couldn't hear anything afterwards.

I didn't even feel my body being lifted off of the ground when the ambulance came.

All I saw was black.
