I woke up unable to move in a hospital room.

Fuck.

Colby better be okay or I will do things to Elton that should not be done to a person.

"He's right in here."

"Oh my God. Sam!"

Corey and Devyn ran to the side of the bed.

"What happened to you?"

Devyn asked, possibly holding my cheek.

I could move my jaw and hear my voice, so I was definitely talking.

"I-I can't feel anything."

She got up on the bed and hugged me.

"I'm so sorry this is happening to you guys."

"I-Is Colby okay?"

A smile grew on her face.

"Yeah. He woke up."

"Wait. Really?!"

"Yeah. We came to find you because he was asking for you."

Corey chimed in. 

I ever so slowly started to gain back feeling as the tears fell from my eyes.

"So he's okay?"

They nodded.

"Oh thank-"

A sudden pain sparked in my heart as everything went black.

Corey's POV

Sam was in the middle of talking when he arched his back and fell back onto the bed.

"Sam! Corey, go get a doctor!"

Devyn yelled, tears pouring from her eyes.

I sprinted out of the room into the hallway.

"We need a doctor!"

What I assumed was a doctor ran from behind the desk at the end of the hall.

"What is it?"

He asked, running up to me.

"My friend was talking to us and then suddenly stopped."

We rushed into the room to see Sam laying there as the machine beeped.

"Hit the red button on the emergency help thing."

I went to take a step towards it, but Devyn bolted over and hit it.

Within a couple of seconds, two people ran in.

"We're going to have to have you step out."

Another said, pulling us out of the room before he went in.

I instantly wrapped my arm around Devyn like I used to.

She just held onto me, so I didn't let go.

As she started sobbing, I saw a figure in all black walk down the other hall at the end of the one we were in.

"I'll be right back, Dev."

I said, getting a weird look and a nod in response.

When I got to the other hallway, I instantly recognized who it was.

"Elton!"

I yelled, causing him to jump and run.

My smartass decided to follow him.
