We made it to the store and the first thing Sam and I did was run to the buggy station thing.
As I went to pull the buggy out, Sam beat me to it and jumped on, making me have to pull his weight.
"Seriously? You're so dumb sometimes."
I said, pulling it anyway.
He giggled, making me smile.
I love his giggle.
It's one of his best features.
But you know, he has a lot of those. (That's what he said😉)
Once I officially got the thing out of the thing after like 10 minutes, I pushed the buggy, running straight (gay) down an isle.
"Colby! Sam! Behave! We can't get kicked out of here again!"
I heard Sam's mom yell as we got to the end of the shelves.
We both laughed, not giving a care in the world.
"Where to next?"
I asked, staring at Sam's beautiful face as I was on one end of the buggy and he was on the other.
"Narnia!"
He turned around, pointing his finger to the sky.
"And where's that?"
I starred at his ass when he wasn't facing me, but then he turned back around.
"You don't remember?"
He asked, fake gasping.
I shook my head.
Giggling, he turned around again.
"It's okay. I don't either."
At that point, his mom caught up with us, arms full of everything we needed.
"Boys! Shh. There's people."
We just laughed again.
Once we rang up everything, we headed back to Sam's house.
When we got into the car, I realized it was somehow already December 31st.
Huh. I forgot it's already been 6 months since I got here.
~time skip cuz I'm lazy and possibly buzzed~
I decided to ask Corey to get us alcohol for New Year's when we got to the house.
Aaron bought it since he was heading home when I texted.
Devyn and Corey were off for the day, so I decided to celebrate with them too.
I was tempted on inviting Kat and Jake, but Kat worked and Jake never got back to me.
He's probably working too.
Since I didn't know if they were coming or not, I had the others get everything set up for them and us then leave 2 extra just in case.
"Hey, Sam. You wanna come celebrate New Year's at the mansion since you've never seen it?"
His face lit up.
"Sure! I've never been to one!"
I smiled, watching his excitement grow.
"Hold on. What do you want for Christmas? I completely forgot about it."
We both frowned.
"I did too. I still need to get my mom something."
"But what do you want?"
"I don't know. I mean, privacy from my family would help."
Sam's siblings, Ben and Allison, were both in college and his dad died from a lung disease a few years back, so he only has his mom and their dog Bella.
And Bella was always in Sam's mom's room since she still needed potty trained.
"Well, you can maybe move in with us. I'd have to ask everyone first though."
His blue eyes shined as his smile grew big.
"Really?"
I nodded, smiling at him.
He jumped on top of me from all the way over from the end of the bed to me, knocking us both over.
We laughed as Sam still hugging, not caring he was still on top of me.
After about 5 minutes, he got up and I called Corey.
"Hey, Corey."
"Hey. What's up?"
I sighed, looking at Sam.
"Is it okay if Sam moves in with us? It won't be for a little while since he has to pack everything and whatever."
"Sure! I mean, I've always wanted to meet the infamous Sam Golbach. You should bring him over this evening."
I laughed, knowing what he was already thinking.
"I planned on it."
"Aaron! Devyn! Sam's coming over for New year's!"
I heard Corey yell, almost deafening my ear.
As I heard faint "I knows", I noticed Sam wasn't in the room.
"Core. I gotta go."
"Oh okay. Bye."
I hung up, looking in every upstair room to see where he went, but couldn't find him.
So I went downstairs.
"Sam?"
I asked, reaching the kitchen.
There he sat, eating a sandwich.
"Huh?"
He said, mouth full of food.
"Okay. We're good. You scared me for a minute."
He finally finished chewing.
Must've been a big bite.
"Sorry. I was hungry.
He stood up, throwing away his paper towel and the bread's crust.
"Do you want to go now and see the mansion before it gets trashed?"
I asked, laughing as he tried to get the ketchup off of his cheek.
"Here. I got it."
I licked my finger and wiped it off, putting it back in my mouth to get the ketchup off. (😉)
Sam's mouth was dropped.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"Uh huh."
"Fine. It was hot. Better?"
I just rolled my eyes.
"Come on. Let's get there before the rest of the guests."
"Who all's coming?"
"I know Shea is, Tara, possibly Kat and Jake, Reggie too, me, you, Aaron, Corey, Devyn, and some of Tara's friends."
"Okay."
I grabbed my keys off of the counter as we headed out the door and to my car.
Once we got in, we headed to my place.
