"Colby still isn't awake."
I said, walking over to the group.
They all nodded and carried on with their conversations.
"Has he gotten any better?"
Devyn asked, wrapping her arms around her knees.
"No. He's the same as he was when he first got here."
She nodded, leaning against Tara.
"Code red to room 340."
"I repeat, code red to room 340."
I jumped as I heard the voice come up on the speaker.
Oh God.
That's Colby's room.
I bolted down the hallway I just came from, seeing a crowd of doctors and nurses around Colby's bed.
Everyone ran behind me, watching the people.
"Charge to 250!"
A doctor yelled, putting the shock pads on Colby's bare chest.
The machine beside his bed was still ringing, saying it didn't work.
Time of death: 1:17 AM.
I dropped to my knees.
"No!"
I yelled, sobbing as I held my stomach, feeling the baby kick.
Everyone gathered around me, but I didn't care.
Colby was gone.
The only person I loved was gone.
I jumped up, sweat trickling down my face.
The whole group watched me, worried.
"What is it?"
Devyn asked, moving over to me.
I was still panting.
"C-Colby. He d-died. In my d-dream."
She wrapped her arms around me as I cried into her shoulder.
"Shhh. You'll be okay. It was just a dream."
Cooing, she rubbed her hand in circles on my back.
I continued crying.
"I-in the dream I was pregnant."
I managed to say through tears.
She pulled back, still holding my shoulders.
"What?"
I nodded as I wiped the tears from my eyes.
She looked up, probably at Tara, with a weird look on her face.
I couldn't tell what Tara was doing, but I think she was talking to Devyn.
"Well, we'll figure it out. If you are... pregnant, you'll have to get a pregnancy test from a store or a pharmacy."
Tara said, hugging me from behind.
I nodded as I started to fall back asleep.
After a couple of minutes, my eyes started to grow heavy.
They shut until I heard someone speak.
"Hey, Corey. Wanna go get some snacks?"
I looked up to see Elton, walking out of the bathroom.
