2. Blue Eyes

CYRUS' POV.

"Madeline, could you grab me a shirt, please?" I asked her and she nodded, jogging up the stairs. I had left my shirt in the paint room.

I headed down, into the boardroom, swung the door wide open, exposing Enzo on the left and Luna Elle and Alpha Lachlan on the right.

"Good Afternoon, Alpha." Luna Elle spoke up and stood up.

"Please, sit," I replied and walked over to them, taking my seat at the head. "So, fill me in."

"Luminous is continuing to flourish." Elle replied, "I have to admit, it's a little hard but we've slowly overcame all our obstacles."

I nodded.

I was pleased to hear that Pack Luminous was still standing even after the death and murder of Alpha Damian. I was sceptical at first with leaving Elle in charge. But she proved that she was capable, and that made my wolf happy. The last thing I needed was extra weight, considering that Pack Moonlight is struggling under my control.

"And yours?" I asked Alpha Lachlan and he nodded.

"No complaints at MoonCrest, no rogue attacks."

"But I must ask, how many purple-eyed Hybrids are still out there -- amongst the rogues?"

"About a dozen," Enzo interjected and I nodded in agreement. 

"You reported triple of that last week..what happened?" Elle asked, folding her arms over her chest.

I met Enzo's eyes and he glanced over at me, then back to Elle.

*Distract them.* My wolf ordered and I leaned in forward,

"We're still investigating the disappearances. When we find out, we'll surely let you both know." I replied with confidence and Alpha Lachlan nodded shortly.

"And Moonlight?" He asked.

"Moonlight is currently under my control. It's been a difficult transition but Enzo and he's warriors have secured a sense of safety and security in the Pack." I admitted honestly.

"Aren't you afraid that someone might rebel? You must remember that most of those men at Moonlight served Logan religiously." Lachlan added.

"We are aware and we've had many challenges but once the people realised that BloodMoon is undoubtedly unstoppable, they were quick to submit," I spoke up.

"We want to promote freedom of speech and--" Enzo began

"As you should," Elle interrupted him.

"We've got Moonlight under control," I said and dismissed the topic. "Is there anything else?"

"I must ask.." Alpha Lachlan began and I rested back into my chair. "It's been almost a year since your transition,"

"Transition?" I scoffed.

"Well since your eyes changed. How has that affected you?" He asked seriously and a smirk crept up my lips.

"The only visible sign is the eyes but I can tell that you're a little sceptical," I replied,

"I only ask because we saw the damage those rogues did, under the influence of the serum, and I just want to be sure that --"

"That I won't feed on you?" I laughed sarcastically. "Rest assured that I have no desire to do such a thing. The only thing that has changed is my outlook on life, and it has its perks." I smiled. "I am much faster, smarter and enhanced in all my abilities - so I can't really complain." I laughed and Elle let out a quick laugh.
