1:20 PM

When we got to the lounge room, it was completely packed with the warriors that had participated. I guess this was their last send off. Champagne and food were passed around and I tried to squeeze myself through to the center, following behind Enzo and the female.

As we stepped towards Cyrus and the others, we quickly caught everyone's attention. When Cyrus came into view, his eyes focused on the female in Enzo's arms - in Bridal style, might I add.

The two of them seemed to engaged in mindlink because Enzo didn't stop walking, he just walked past Cyrus, into the kitchen and out into the foyer, with her.

I didn't follow them.

I stood beside Jaxon whom was talking to Madeline and replacing his now finished glass of champagne with a new one.

The moment his hands lifted up the glass to his lips, I quickly lifted myself up and took the glass out of his hands.

"What —"

"Get another one," I said.

Jaxon scoffed and smiled apologetically to Madeline, picking up another glass. As I downed the drink, I instantly felt the burning sensation in my throat and I turned away, watching as everyone else engaged in loud and cheerful conversations.

"You good?" Jaxon asked me and I nodded.

"Okay good, so you wouldn't mind if I left you and went over there to talk to that brunette?" He raised his eyebrows and I chuckled and shook my head.

"Good luck!" I laughed and he nodded, smiling as he walked over to the female warrior. I took that as my chance to scope out Jordyn's competition. Sydney was over to the side talking to the other female warriors and I watched as they congratulated her.

*We'll compete next year* My wolf stated and I nodded, determined.

My eyes scanned the room casually, pretending to sip lightly on my glass.

Over to my left, Kareem stood in new attire. He wore a dress-shirt and was standing in the center of a group of about six other men. Men including Mr. Macy and Mr. Christiansen senior - Ragon

The men were all dressed prestigiously and chuckled in unison as Kareem spoke. His dark skin almost glistening directly under the chandelier and they all seemed to hold onto every word he said.

"Excuse me," A voice said from beside me and I turned as I was met with two tall warriors.

"We don't mean to bother you, Luna, but we were wondering if there's any way that you'll introduce us to the Alpha." One of them spoke and I went completely blank.

I looked over to my right and pointed in the direction of Cyrus.

Cyrus stood there, proud, still in his training attire, with his arms folded across his chest. He was engaged in a conversation with other warriors, in which the conversation had him smirking with amusement.

"If you'd like to speak to the Alpha, just go directly to him." I shrugged.

What the hell was I supposed to say?
