Ragon - pronounced 'ray-gon'

~

I'm sorry! I opened all the doors, trying to find the restroom." I replied quickly and stepped forward, eager to head for the living room. If my heart could physically leave my body, it would as it was beating so quick as I walked passed Ragon.

"Nevaeh?" Ragon called out and I stopped in my tracks. My heart beating loudly.

"Yes..?" I whispered in fear.

"The bathroom? It's the other way." He said and I turned to face him a smile on my lips.

"For fucks sake Nevaeh!" I heard Enzo curse and I gave Ragon a smile, walking down the hall, trying to find the bathroom that I didn't even need.

Walking down the hallway, I turned my head to my left ever so slightly. Just enough so I could see if Ragon was still standing there watching me. To my relief, he had turned around and walked off in the other direction.

I had a decision to make, either follow behind him and make my way back to the living room or head to the bathroom and tell Enzo about what I found.

"Are you there?" His voice called out and I nodded, forgetting that he couldn't see me.

"Yeah, I'm here. Ragon's gone." I replied.

"You are a terrible liar." Enzo laughed out and I smiled shortly, my eyes landing on the bathroom door, left ajar.

"You fumbled entirely." Enzo continued and I rolled my eyes.

I stepped in, taking that time to stare at my features in the mirror. I placed the phone down, putting him on speakerphone and shutting the door behind me.

"Enzo, you have no idea what I've found. And I have so many questions." I blurted out, trying to fix my hair.

"What exactly did you find?" He asked me and I ran my fingers through my hair, making my curls looser.

"Ragon had files about me..and..more on the Hunter" I blurted out, noticing my flushed cheeks that were burning with heat. "My heart nearly left my chest when I saw Ragon," I said and Enzo didn't say anything.

I proceeded to grab a small towel from the side and damped it with some water. I then placed the towel to my temples, trying to calm myself down. At that moment, my wolf ran in circles in excitement and I wasn't sure why.

"Enzo?" I asked out as he had remained silent for about two minutes.

"That doesn't make any sense.." He called out and I creased my eyebrows, confused with what he had said. "Nevaeh?" He asked.

"Mhmm"

My wolf continued, restless and eager to take control.

*What's going on with you?* I asked her.

*Mate!* She yelled and I dropped the towel, my ears picking up on a familiar voice from downstairs.

"Don't look into it. You weren't supposed to find whatever you found. Just leave it" Enzo continued, distracting me from listening to the new voices from downstairs.

"What?" I asked, barely listening.

"I'm saying just wait for me to get back. Don't look into it --"

"Yeah, yeah." I Ignored him, dropping the towel and grabbing the phone. I stepped towards the door, stretching my hand out to twist the knob.

Enzo continued to talk but I couldn't make out anything that he had said. My focus held on the voice of my mate from downstairs. I felt a burning sensation inside me and my eyes began to burn, a familiar feeling that I had gotten used to and would occur whenever our wolfs were eager to meet again.
