"Any luck finding a body?" Ophelia asked her mother, leaning on the counter.

"Hush child! I have — customers," Her mother hissed, eyeing her loud daughter.

"Oh they can't hear me," Ophelia rolled her eyes, twisting around in her chair to face the customers that were lining up to order.

"You could make yourself useful and help me," Her mother stated.

"I could..but I'd only mess everything up. You know I'm only good with magic," Ophelia replied, whispering the last bit of her sentence.

"Order seventy two is ready!" Her mother yelled over the crowd and she watched as a woman and her toddler walked over to the counter.

"Thank you, I'm definitely recommending you to my friends," The woman smiled.

"Oh I appreciate that," Ophelia's mother replied, pushing the strands of her grey hair behind her ear.

"And you still haven't told me if you've found a body to latch onto—" Ophelia continued ignoring their conversation.

Accompanied by a glare from her mother, she dismissed the customer, turning her attention to her troublesome daughter.

"At nineteen, you'd think she'd grow up a little" Her mother thought, shaking her head.

She walked over to her daughter, leaning towards her ear.

"I haven't found one yet but a woman and a man came in yesterday—definitely werewolves." She hissed, her eyes on her customers, ensuring that they couldn't hear.

Ophelia's eyes lit up in excitement, "Fucking werewolves.."

Her mother ignored her language, "I wasn't able to tell which Pack they were from but I did notice that the woman looked uneasy, like she was in need of saving. The woman didn't say much, he did all the talking. She kept her eyes low and —"

"How is this relevant to you finding a body to use as your eyes into BloodMoon?" Ophelia interrupted.

"Because pain can make people desperate for relief —for freedom at any means necessary. Listen Ophelia, if she's from BloodMoon we could propose a offer that she can't refuse."

Ophelia nodded, eager to know more. "I hear you.."

"Once we seal the deal, we'll do our part and use her." Her mother replied.

That moment, a male customer stepped forward, tapping their fingers on the counter.

"But what could we offer her?" Ophelia continued, her eyes glaring at the impatient customer.

"Just a sec!" Her mother called out with a sweet smile.

"We'll figure that out after we find out if she's from BloodMoon."

The tapping continued.

"But how do you think you're going to find her, she's basically gone now?" Ophelia asked, her eyes on the customer that held a stone cold look on his face.
