"Hear who?" He asked turning around to look behind me. Enzo stared off into the distance for a moment, his eyes squinting in confusion, attempting to focus better in the dark hallway.

"I thought I saw someone.." I breathed out, exhausted by now.

"Are you alright?" He asked, his eyes filled with concern as he placed his hand on my shoulder.

I nodded, pushing his hand off of me, and walking towards the staircase, slowly walking down. Whatever that was - hallucination or not, it was not normal and I needed answers. If there was something that I had learnt these past years is that nothing should be underestimated - everything had a meaning and I was determined to find out what this meant.

"Where are you going?" Enzo called behind me and I ignored him, stepping into the living room. My steps were slow, scared even as I stared at the empty couch, then to the fireplace - that wasn't lit.

"Did you light the fireplace?" I asked him once I sensed him standing behind me.

"No, I just came in here and found you lying down here." He answered. "Why were you sleeping down here?"

"I miss Cyrus," I replied honestly, my eyes never leaving the fireplace. I stared at it as if she would reappear but nothing happened. She wasn't real - all of that wasn't real.

"I'm going to sleep," Enzo announced with a sigh and I Ignored him, stepping over to the couch and sitting down slowly.

*You should too* My wolf advised and I swung my legs over, wrapping myself with the blanket that I threw on the floor. I lifted the blanket to my neck, staring straight at the fireplace and slowly my eyes closed.

Next day | Location: MoonLight Pack | CYRUS P.O.V  2pm

"People of MoonLight I want to extend my thanks and appreciation for your warm welcome," I said aloud, stepping up to address the pack. "I understand that the past year has been extremely hard for you all and that a lot of you feel displaced. but I assure you, that we are here to assist you --"

"You killed our Alpha! We cannot trust this man!" A loud voice came from the crowd and I swung my head in that direction. Instinctively, Darion rushed over to the man that had spoken, grabbing him violently.

"No, let him speak!" I called out to Darion and he looked up at me for reassurance and I nodded. He obeyed, releasing the young man.

"Speak freely," I said to the man and he stood up straight. He appeared to be in his late thirties, and a wolf of status radiated off of him. He couldn't have been apart of Logan's main circle because they had all died.

"State your position," I said to him.

"I am Francisco, the head blacksmith of the Pack." He replied, all attention focused on him. "How are we meant to trust you when you killed our Alpha?!" He called out, over the crowd.

"Because your precious Alpha threatened to destroy all the other packs and not to mention, he was building an army of hybrid werewolves that would feed on other werewolves." I explained, folding my arms over my chest. "He not only made a poisonous serum but he was using my mates blood to make them - almost killing her in the process. So if you're still mourning over Logan's pathetic death then I suggest that you leave and find your peace elsewhere." I said assertively and the man named Francisco formed his lips into a straight line, before turning to face the rest of his pack.

"We were not aware of Logan's plans." Francisco stated and I cocked my head to the side.

"We? As in no one here had an inkling that Logan was involved in some shady business?" I scoffed in disbelief and glanced over at Mr Macy, whom was standing beside Darion.
