Previously on Alpha Cyrus-Fallen King...

I opened my mouth, making false attempts to speak.
"I..I..I know that I should've told you. I apologise for not telling you first but that's no excuse to act the way you did." I said seriously.

"I know, and I thank you for saving me." Cyrus replied. "But why did you tell him? Was it because you couldn't talk to me? Have I made it difficult to talk to?"

"No, no." I lifted my hands to his body, pressing my hands against his warm chest. "He was the first person that I saw after the Goddess came to me, and I sorta blurted it all out. I was overwhelmed, Cyrus. I never thought I'd have the opportunity to help raise someone from the dead."

He nodded, holding on to every word.

"I understand. It still fucking bothers me that he knew this entire time but I understand."

"So you aren't going to hurt him or lash out?" I asked quickly, pulling his glasses off from his eyes.

"No, I want a fresh start for us. Things are better now, I can feel it." He smiled, placing a kiss to my forehead. "No more secrets,"

I nodded and paused for a moment.

"What now?" He asked,

"There's two other things I have to tell you..but we'll talk tomorrow." I brushed him off.

"What's it about?"

"My dead sister and.. your father," I blurted and he raised his left eyebrow.

"What..?"

"We'll talk tomorrow! And I forgive you." I said simply and he shook his head in refusal.

"Tell me now," He grabbed my hands.

"Tomorrow, I'll tell you everything tomorrow." I said seriously, "Can we sleep now, I'm terribly tired."

Cyrus sent me a smile, turning me around, facing the mirror again and placing his hands on my stomach.

"Whether you believe me or not, there's a pup growing in there." He stated and lightly caressed my stomach.

I rolled my eyes, looking away from the mirror.

"I mean it, Nevaeh, we'll confirm tomorrow." He replied and I bit my lip awkwardly.

"Just don't get your hopes high.." I said slowly, pushing him off and walking over to the bed.

~ The Next Day ~

"It's much quieter without Kendra, don't you think?" Jordyn asked me, walking further into woods. She held her gun in her hand, eyes posted and alert.

"I think you're the loud one," I replied with a smirk, following behind her slowly. We had agreed to go out and hunt for our dinner today. Cyrus had announced that he wanted a large feast today to celebrate his wellness and return.

"You guys think I'm the loud one, but we both know that it's Kendra - Her and her judgments." Jordyn snickered, stepping into the long grass. "Isn't it strange how upbeat the Alpha has been since his return?"
