"I can't stand to look at you right now." He growled softly and my heart clenched.

I watched my mate storm off down the hallway, I stared as he jogged up the second staircase, up to the level of our bedroom. My cheeks were wet and hot, I was so overwhelmed with emotions that I didn't even realise that Jordyn had jogged up the stairs to meet me.

Her warm arms wrapped around me, pulling me in for a hug.

"I don't understand what just happened but I'm here, babes." Jordyn whispered into me, holding me, rubbing my back slowly.

"I'm okay," I replied, pulling away from her.

She searched my eyes but I avoided them, looking down at the lower level where the front door had swung open, exposing Marcus and Kendra whom held the brightest smile on their face. The couple greeted Jaxon and Sydney whom still stood there awkwardly.

"You probably don't want to engage in conversation so do you wanna go up to my room?" Jordyn whispered, "We could just hang?" She added, a look of pity on her face.

"No, I'm fine. Thanks Jordyn." I said, dismissing her and jogging down. I quickly wiped the tears from my cheek, and forced a smile.

"Aren't you two off now?" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah, we just came to pick up Xena's stuffed wolf, the one that Cyrus gave her." Kendra replied, walking up the stairs, leaving us.

"She won't sleep without it," Marcus replied, giving Jaxon one of those 'bro' handshakes. "What are you guys doing here?" Marcus asked, "Oh did you hear, the Alpha's back." Marcus added searching our eyes.

"Yeah..he made an entrance." Jaxon said awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.

Marcus let out a short laugh, Unsure of what Jaxon meant and I mentally cursed. Maybe I should've taken Jordyn up on her offer. Because standing here, forcing a smile was draining and I could feel tears forcing their way to my tearducts.

"Got it!" Kendra yelled, walking down the stairs. She stepped over to me, wrapping her arms around me. "I'll miss you most," She said pulling me in for a tight hug. "Oh and Mrs Macy was looking for you tonight,"

"She was? Did she say why?" I asked her, holding her.

"Nope, so maybe give her a ring." Kendra replied, rubbing my back.

"You two have fun, yeah?" I stated, changing the subject and pulling away.

"We will! I'm so excited!" She smiled and moved on to Jordyn.

Marcus was next, grabbing me pulling me for a hug.

"Take lots of photos, and be careful around humans." I said to him and he chuckled.

"I plan on making Xena an older sister," He replied and I forced a quick smile as he pulled apart.
