Change was in the air and nothing held Ethereal back any longer.
" Are you getting old Argon? " Ethereal asked as he helped him to his feet.
" No, I let you win to give you confidence " He defended himself as Ethereal laughed.
" Earth made you weak," Ethereal said as he remembered he was to go see Leo.
" What's wrong? " Argon asked,
" I have to go see Leo " Ethereal explained.
" Go then but later your doing extra training " Argon dismissed him as he picked up training equipment from the floor.
" And he says am weak, " Argon said as he laughed to himself.
Ethereal went to his room to find Leo in there.
" Leo, holy shit," Ethereal said shocked to see him.
" Hey " he answered.
"Surprised to see you, Who let you in? " Ethereal asked,
" Well, Terra did? we are old friends " Leo said as Ethereal laughed.
" Well I am sweaty let me go freshen up give me ten minutes," Ethereal said as he went to the bathroom.
Leo looked around Ethereal room and saw a frame with a picture of a man and woman with a young Ethereal.
" I have never seen this before, " He said to himself and was about to ask Ethereal when he was called.
" Leo come pass me the towel I got soap in the eyes and it stings, " Ethereal said as Leo went to him.
" Here, "Leo said as she stood in front of the shower glass door seeing Ethereal's shadow of his naked form through the glass.
" Thanks," Ethereal said as he opened the door and got out.
" You are truly Ethereal, " Leo said as he went all speechless.
" I don't know, I feel like a mess and so much is out of my control and I am powerless, " Ethereal said as he took the towel their fingers touched and they looked into each other's eyes.
" your not powerless 'cause am with you and I would die for you " Leo blurted out to Ethereal who punched him on the shoulder.
" No one is dying on my watch, " Ethereal said as Leo smiled and they kissed passionately until they felt an earthquake.
" What was that? " They both wondered until Leo received a message on his phone.
" No, this is bad," Leo said reading the message on his phone.
" What's going on? " Ethereal asked,
" Area 17 is going to blow up with this entire town along with it, " Leo said as Ethereal got dressed.
Meanwhile downstairs. " Everyone we have to leave, " Dina said as she ran into the house.
" Mom, why did I get a message saying emergency evacuation? " Blaire asks as Terra and Argon came into the room.
" We have to go, " Dina said as Ethereal and Leo came downstairs to find everyone in the living room.
" Did everyone evacuate area 17? " Leo asked Dina.
" Yes, and we don't have time the radiation is unstable and unpredictable we could have only minutes before a nuclear explosion," Dina said.
" Then I have to go get my brother and tell my parents," Leo said as he turned to Ethereal, " I love you," he said as he kissed Ethereal.
